Absolutely ridiculous decision to let Mauk go. As one of our brightest and up coming players he has taken his opportunity this season and run with it. One of our stand out performers this season he has finally seemed to be living up to his obvious potential. Even if we were to lose him in the off season it would be due to the transfer clause being triggered meaning a payout for the club. Losing him to Adelaide for free is the way I see it. Would be happy with losing Williams but losing this talent in Mauk is daylight robbery. Fuck off JVS

I would say the banner was different to the display earlier on in the game otherwise it would of been showed at the start and at the yarra end of the ground

But the point of the protests was to ensure that in the future we can support the boys in the best possible way. No restrictions on pullovers and tifos, stop the way the FFA uses the active support as marketing but at the same time refuse the basic rights of supporters. The players would of been aware of what had happened and as a result would understand that a 90 minutes of silence is much better then the following seasons becoming more and more silent before active support is finally killed off to a fraction of what it once was.

For the above example though cadete the media went to town on football supporters and as a result got the attention it deserved. We can acknowledge there is a small element who go out before or after a game and has a scrap with another group but none of this is targeted by the media. The media chooses to target an event which went of largely incident free and resulted in less evictions then then other sporting events of the same size. This is the unfair treatment. If the media covered how many evictions occurred at other codes in the same way the uproar wouldn't be as server by football fans.

Club just said the away section is available to any club members not just the active membership. As far as im aware and looking at the link posted by cityscape the away area is not open to the general public

So Ramsey started of the season with 2 assists in his first game. Again unfortunately looks to be a sign which proves that players seem to turn to shit when they sign for us and suddenly show there class again when they sign for somewhere else
