I am also lazy and didn't organise tickets, if anyone has 2 please let me know either GA or Active

Was this out at Darebin? I've heard some similar reports. Hopefully everyone enjoyed it and there will be some demand for 1-2 week camps in the future.

Melbourne City FC Terrace | OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
RoyalHeart replied to Fingman's topic in Melbourne City
Yep, this would definitely work. "Member since 2012" You're a flog, Scouse. Accept the fact that everyone in the Australian Football Community thinks you are and please give up on the wanna be troll act as everyone can see past it now and is at the point where they are now feeling sorry for you. -
Or pingers Haha this is what I was implying
-
I was going to suggest White Heart's but we may be confused for a bikie gang

I think once we have a marquee signed on for the season we will probably see some sort of billboard in a well know area around the city with them on it and it will step up a few notches following that. They wouldn't be able to do that with David Villa as he is here for 10 games only.
-
It would be cool if we could introduce a "Tour of Duty" of sorts. Going to as many away games as possible should be encouraged but not everyone can afford it so could be a good idea to organise an away trip a lot of us can make once a year.

Spotted this on the membership site under City Class: The City Class membership takes football entertainment to another level. You will have access to exclusive level 2 seating with live music and gourmet finger food, and even a signed strip from our quality marquee signing This probably tells us they have someone lined up already and it won't be someone who is quality but a bit of a no name with casual football supporters. I wouldn't be suprised if it does end up being Lampard.

Wonder if our odds have shorten again $6, if I was patient I would probably get on

Wowee if we manage to sign Engelaar under the cap, Kennedy and an international marquee as midfielder we are looking very dangerous. Welcome to Melbourne Damien!

Well done to them. Defensive errors from the Zebras really cost them. -
Box Hill pretty much played as Hawthorn yesterday. Good win by NB but!

I just read this on the official website: "The new Home Kit for Melbourne City FC combines the white from the Club’s previous kit designs with the signature blue of its sister clubs in Manchester and New York. The new Away Kit for Melbourne City FC celebrates the Club’s history, the wishes of its existing fan base and the red and white that remains at the heart of its identity" So it is sky blue? -
Exactly Rellum, it feels as though there is already a feeling that Australia and Melbourne Heart fans owe the City owners for taking us over. Although he ran the club from an operational point of view poorly Sidwell says, and I believe him, that there was enough money to run the club many many years. So in terms of potentially folding that was never going to happen and it was pure speculation. There is a culture within Australia that whenever a club is doing poorly that they should fold. People even suggested Port Adelaide fold despite still getting 17,000+ to games yet they seemed to have turned it around. I got off track but my point is we don't owe them for saving us. We were alive and well but we had a rubbish manager. We don't owe the new owners anything because they haven't done anything at all to suggest they are good owners whilst they have taken over us. You can bang on about how good they are in Manchester but until they bring in signings, invest in our club they should be treated with the same respect that any new owner comes in. More cautious than optimism.

Are you insinuating that Gallop was responsible for the salary cap saga from 2010? No one had any idea except for a very small select group of people.

Some people really astound me. The fact that people even use the argument that "there will be 3 claret and blues in the premier league next year why can't we have 2 sky blues" baffles me. Sky blue is the colour of NSW, and we have had the colours quite literally imposed on us with no input whatsoever. These clubs have been around 100's of years and have had that identity for an extremely long time. I agree with Sydney that sky blue is part of their unique marketing strategy and if another club uses it too it would be a conflict of interest to them. TCG have been incredibly disrespectful to the existing fans through 0 consultation and this shows where their intentions lie. Global "branding" and Financial Fair Play.
