One of the things I worry about with JVS is his commitment to the cause. You can see he has a fairly laid back style which is all well and good but to be a football manager for any side it pretty much has to consume 95% of your life. But at the same time I did read somewhere (forgive me for not having a source) that JVS left after his first stint because of a lack of ambition and support from the board. But due to the the owners coming in and an obvious increase in ambition, funds etc then he would be keen to stay on. I personally would prefer if we got a name from overseas and then kept on JVS as an assistant, DOF, Youth Development etc but would not complain if he stays on if the last few weeks are anything to go off by.

Exactly. Despite the glitz and glamour some good marquees will provide I am excited that our club will be key in unearthing the next generation of Socceroos. The dream was always to have a blend of youth being taught to play a particular way as well as some solid middle aged players and older, more glamourous players,. This is the dream, I am still so shocked to think that 4 days ago I was reading through these posts, wondering if the take over was going to happen and worst of all, whether my club would even exist in 3 years time. Now with the resources we have, we have the potential to be one of the best clubs in Asia.

Yeah I am of the opinion that we do have a good group of players that can challenge towards the top but they are so low on confidence and have been so poorly managed that they are playing well below their best. Give JVS a few weeks before we find out who the real hacks are and get rid of the deadwood from there.

I'm not abusing other supporters for being positive.
