  1. holy crap, huge opportunity for Sutton
  2. He deserves credit for what he's doing at training as we truly do look a step above the rest of the league in general play, but damn his matchday performance is so frustrating. He's got to sort the defensive lapses out asap and then we're golden. We keep dropping dumb points and we'll find ourselves coming up short at the pointy end of the season.
  3. losing Leckie absolutely fried us going forward
  4. Nate

    Tom Glover

Heart Redmayne was pretty fkn bad lol
  5. according to Reddit, there was a security guard incident in active that led to a walkout
  6. I'm convinced Glover's been at fault for at least 50% of our goals conceded this season, such a liability without adequate competition. Takes the shine off an excellent start to this game
  7. Absolutely wild that the forum whipping boy of the past 4 years is probably leading the Johnny Warren medal right now, such a big improvement
  8. Fatigue might catch up with us sooner rather than later, but I'm confident we'll win even if we play at 60-70% given the players we have in-form
  9. I reckon it's almost guaranteed we'll release him before the season's out
  10. What a fucking steal!!! Outplayed all night but we never fell out of it. Leckie has cleared all doubts I had about him in his first couple of months, what an outstanding month he's had. What a hit!!
  11. Looking bang average. Remarkable that Tilio is on the bench after his last game, and it's not as though he's in need of rotation. We are crying out for subs already, so inevitably we'll see Cola and Tilio at the 80th minute and Endoh in the 89th minute in 4 weeks time.
  12. In his defence, he left AAMI in a moonboot with a pretty nasty gash from Leckie's studs. In real time I thought it was an exaggeration too but VAR clearly showed Leckie stood on his foot - clear as day pen and unfathomable that Evans didn't overturn it. The whole saga reflects on the league very poorly and it's not a great way to win a game - especially since we were the better side anyway and aren't the kind of club that needs benefiting from those types of decisions. As I aforementioned, it was a farce.
  13. Rough day to be Aiden O'Neill, he's been targeted by both the Mariners players and verbally by Paddy lmao
  14. another ex-City player, another world class A-League goal.
  15. Thanks especially to Taylor Regan, the poster boy for Sunday league football.
  16. Berenguer's assist was just perfect. Honestly, who would ever have predicted he'd be one of the best in the league this season?! He's transformed. Outside of him, we've been dogshit though. Subs needed asap PK.
  17. Congrats to Connor, he thoroughly deserves it. I just worry how much his and Atkinson's departures (in addition to probably Tilio, maybe Good) is going to affect us mid-long term. I worry the destabilisation will really hurt us, which is a shame since I was hopeful of a bit of a dynasty with these guys. But ultimately, I get it. Life's too short to hold off and wonder what if.
  18. How about Noone's worldy against the Mariners last night, wowza
  19. That's a fair assessment. I guess it's really just Cola and Pucci missing out for now, and we have no real idea about Pucciarelli's fitness/attitude.
  20. I completely agree, I think it's really poor. Just saying though, there must be a directive as it happens far too consistently to be chalked down as "Paddy getting too invested in the game to remember to sub". Some clarity from the club/manager would be nice.
