kingofhearts
Strong rumors linking him with a move to our club. Here's hoping he takes over from Warren ASAP
JMSTEP123
Should we open a PopovicOut thread or too soon?
rayv36
Poppa is known for pragmatic football and high turn over of players, but unlike Wazza he's a proven manager
neio
So we had a worldwide search for a manager, over 100 applicants were reported. We hire one that's resume was hardly glowing, and now we looking at someone who was a 90 minute plane ride away Does anyone at CFG know what they are doing?

Tesla
Won the ACL with a team of state league level players, would probably be the best manager appointment in Heart/City history (which isnt saying much at all).
n i k o
I'm not saying I necassarily want Popa. But without digging out a comment in made prior to 2015 the one thing I said we needed was to find a coach that had a winning pedigree, that had been there and done it at least once and knew what it took to take a team from the aleague to be champions. I still stand by it.

Plus isn't one of his the thing he asks is to have greater control over the running of the club hes at etc? Cant see that happening with CFG. Dylan
Popovic has changed his style especially with that assistant he uses. But in terms of him taking over, there is not enough smoke around for this to be true IMO.
