  1. I always promise myself not to get excited for our away matches, then when the weekend approaches there's always a little excitement. This week; none whatsoever! The only way it'll be possible to do so would be if we see a change in how we play.
  2. We see our rivals put in a great second half performance in Adelaide last week to score 2 goals which could've been 3-4. And here we are calmly kicking the ball around with no intent when we know that Perth are no title contenders let alone favourites to make finals and we can't even create a genuine opportunity. This team makes it very hard to "believe".
  3. This. I really do feel sorry for our travelling fans. I was planning on going on an away trip for the first time but if we continue these appauling performances away from home, I'll forget about it.
  4. STARTING XI | Redmayne, Hoffman, Wielaert ©, Kisnorbo, Behich; Murdocca, Migliorini; Mebrahtu, Williams, Ramsay; Mifsud SUBS | Gerhardt, Velaphi, Mauk, Dugandzic, Retre
  5. 4 would be good without the horizontal white line.
  6. Well done to Galatasaray. We needed the win and got it comfortably. We should be able to qualify easily especially if Real beat Juve again. Sorry Juve, off to Europa League you go.
  7. I would've watched your videos but they seem to have too much to do with Collingwood
  8. I said that on the basis of how other teams' fans sing it in England. Of course it's great to do it differently so disregard what I said. You can't actually say it caught on, there were only about 15 of us singing it, the rest didn't know the words. If we all sing it, it would sound amazing.
  9. He's magic, you know..I love the magic chant but unfortunately it didn't catch on (lyrics are really simple, how did people not sing along) as only a few people sung it. It was also done too slow, it should be done faster with everyone clapping whilst singing.
  10. It definitely won't arrive in time but they will send you a temporary ticket to use for this week's game. I know this because I experienced it last season.
  11. Melbourne Heart Squad: 1. Andrew REDMAYNE (GK), 3. Robbie WIELAERT, 6. Patrick GERHARDT, 7. Iain RAMSAY, 8. Massimo MURDOCCA, 10. Harry KEWELL (Captain), 14. Golgol MEBRAHTU, 15. Patrick KISNORBO, 25. Andrea MIGLIORINI (Two to be omitted) Ins: 19. Benjamin GARUCCIO (returns from international duty), 21. Stefan MAUK (returns from international duty) Outs: Nil Unavailable: 2. Jonatan GERMANO (Hamstring - two weeks) So looks like Hoffman at RB again.
  12. Who actually voted for that goal celebration song?!
  13. Bump. A sheet with some lyrics were even given out at a match last season that included this one but it never happened. I believe the lyrics were: Ooooohhoooohoooohooohoooohooooo Score for us Melbourne, Score for us Melbourne, Gooooaaaaallll
  14. He may have been beaten a few times and required plenty of support but at least he didn't dive into any poor challenges or find himself out of position when they were attacking. When he had the ball he didn't give it away too easily but when he had chances for a couple of counter-attacking chances, IIRC he over hit the passes out to touch or for a goal kick which could've released Dugandzic(?) into plenty of space.
  15. I'm sure I speak for many when saying that I miss standing with Yarraside at AAMI Park. The 7 month period away from it was too long. Hope the attendance is no less than 7k and if we play well and get the win this week and the couple of weeks away from home after, the next home game (WSW) could get well over 8-9k. I was looking forward to seeing Mifsud play but if he actually does arrive Friday night then there'll probably be no chance of seeing him. But if e can get firing against Brisbane and Perth, we will have an exciting season ahead.
  16. The only negative about such a good defence is that, if we ever take the lead in a match, JA will be more than happy if the team sit backs back for the remainder of the match.
  17. You should've added something in there about fast clapping
  18. Where did you hear this? Doesn't sound anywhere near true?
  19. I asked this earlier but no one answered... Will the drum be at the match? I ask this because although it was present at last season's first derby, we didn't have it for the third derby
  20. Ah yes, I submitted those about a year ago. No one must have seen it. I just found any footage I was able to on youtube. I even had to send an e-mail to one of the site's admins to create a Melbourne Heart team section as they either didn't know we existed or they couldn't be bothered adding it after our inception.
  21. Are we gonna have the drum this time? It was there for the first derby last season but not the last...

    Murdocca Chant

I had also suggested a chant in that thread. To thr tune of "Magic" by Pilot: You'll never get past Massimoooo, He's magic, You know. x100
  23. 0:20 Booooo!!! Seems fitting that Heskey skied the ball.
