Surely he's worth a look at for Defensive back-up.

What needs to be done to grow the support and attendance

If you ever needed an example of how winning brings people to games, look at this simple stat - Richmond Memberships 2017 and 2018: 2017 75,777 2018 100,718 Winning also has the added advantage of Asian Champions League, which clearly is a better incentive to sign and retain better players. If you haven't accepted that fact that CFG's investment is to create the "Australian Youth Football Factory", it begs a question what you've been doing for the last 3 years. You can only take it in your stride. Somewhat left field, but drop the price of beer in the stadium. I know this won't happen, but I could invite 4 or 5 mates to a cheap(er) piss up in the Active Section, you never know how many blokes will want to come back for another game. Being pissed in the stands provides the best footballing memories, which is why I think so many people regard Adelaide away as the A-League's greatest away trip. -
28/3/16 Melbourne City F.c vs Wellington Phoenix F.c

I feel a formation change coming. Something unexpected, like a 4-2-1-3, with Bruno as the 1 in behind Novillo, Zullo and Fitzy wide. Then Malik and Caceras can sit in front of defence, Caceras more box to box. -
RD 23 | Away to Adelaide Friday 11 March 7.30pm

Believe so. There is a specific Away Bay drop down that then only highlights that one. -

I purchased tickets for the Away Bay off Ticketek this morning. It looked like half, maybe two-third of the away bay was already sold out. Didn't spend the time counting the number of blacked out seats, but Adelaide's Away Bay would hold 100-150, so looking at 60-100 tickets already sold -
Are there many people going over to this game?

What would people think if Demichelis was offered by CFG on a 2 year deal, under the cap?

RD 18 City travel again to face the FFA Jerks

With Partaalu confirmed as leaving the club, Retre should be in the midfield with Malik back and Franjic wide. -
This can then get coupled with the Novillo version. You alternate between the two. Not sure why this hasn't been latched onto by the terrace earlier.

Has he been linked to NYC?

Where are the Vidic rumours coming from?

On the sparse nature of active, there were a few people that came down into the gaps in the first 20 mins. Security came over and told them that they couldn't stand there. The police, a back-up ACG and a AAMI Park smurf all came over and asked them to leave. They did. So I asked security who complained. He said "they had to go". Turns out, they were kicked out for bringing in contraband in Coca-Cola bottles, not moving to Active. A few more filled up after half time and no-one mentioned anything about it. It feels like outside of Derbies, most staff don't care where you sit or stand after you show them your initial ticket.

Koren sat at the top of midfield against Sydney for large portions of the match. He did not run back with defence and so there was a gaping hole for Sydney to play in and for us not to exploit in transition. The overwhelming (in my view) concept here is to have our midfield on song and running with WSW's. Koren is not going to do that based on last match. I do think that putting Novillo centrally allows you to have a younger winger run his guts out, up and back, rather than a lazy Koren. And, just because I'm petty, Koren, a man of EPL and international experience etc. etc., did not finish one on one with the Keeper. He scores that, it's 3-1 and Sydney are defeated. I'm not saying that I could score it, or any other squad member could, but the question is are either Zinni or Espindola "preferred on the field over Koren?" Well, the bar isn't that high.
-
Strongly disagree with Zinni and Espindola.
-
Koren starting worries me. Would much rather see him on the bench and give Novillo the role in the middle. Put Zinni or Espindola out wide if you want someone up there.

If AAMI Park can get their act together with the free supply of tap water upon request before 7.00pm on Saturday, we'll get up 2-1. If not, we're losing 1-0.

His poor defending was only covered up by how bad Matt Millar was.

Accommodation in Adelaide is starting to book up quick. Made a fair few inquiries this week and they aren't sure why, but they're booking out.

So, just to clarify - 1. Is there a protest occuring? 2. If so, in what form? 3. Why is the protest happening/what is its purpose? -
Melbourne City Fan Representative Group
biancorosso7 replied to Torn Asunder's topic in Melbourne City
Has the club considered a post match "kick around" on AAMI on a Sunday afternoon? I think Brisbane did this earlier in the year and worked well for them. Ties in with the family concept of the club. Also, what is the club's expectations in terms of winning championships and getting into the ACL? Are we on track with the expectations? -
Can Millar play as a CB?

The game changed for me firstly, when Novillo couldn't chip Redmayne in the first 20 mins in the 1-on-1 and then secondly, a double substitution at half time. Gamerio is possibly the laziest player I have ever seen in the Heart/City top. Nothing he has done in a minute of football he has played for us has impressed me in the slightest. Someone mentioned that we might have overlooked McLaren for Gamerio - if this is correct, then someone needs to lose their job. Agree that Garrucio had an absolute shocker. Re: the terrace on Friday night - making people sit down and then stand up 4 times in 7 minutes does not win friends or attention spans. And please, can we try to use chants with words in them? The "oles" and the "na-nahs" all run into each other. For those who will say "big words don't catch on", then how do you explain the success of the new Aaron Mooy chant.
