14-16 team league would work logistically, since that's 26-30 matches per season. Any more and realistically we're going to need one of a. a longer season b. another league or c. regular midweek fixtures.

The reason we're now full season members is that we've done the 3 match memberships, last season twice, for a couple of seasons. They are excellent for people who can't commit to every match, and for those who are making a greater commitment than individual matches. Great approach IMHO in moving fans to a greater level of commitment.

This marks a real cultural difference between here and the UK in terms of football culture. As a League 1 club, if we won a cup tie against a big club, or won promotion, then it would be expected thatcher would be a mass pitch invasion, mobbing the players, probably carrying them shoulder high, and celebrating in front of the main stand. All good natured. The stadium announcer would go through a ritual of asking everyone to stay off the pitch, but they would be ignored, and no one would get in trouble. But in so many ways, the policing of soccer crowds here is largely fearful and completely over the top.

This may or may not help another related problem I encountered on Friday, and have encountered before. Several times we've rocked up to find a group of people already sitting in our seats, and those around, which are also, we know held by other members. Said people move on with bad grace, clearly expecting us to go and sit somewhere else, and displace someone else. Yet they presumably have allocated seats elsewhere. There is GA area if you want to rock up early and sit where you like, so why choose to come into an allocated area? So I guess if everything was usually GA we would avoid this problem, though possibly create a host of others.

Agreed. We had a sequence of corners in the second half where we could and should have put Adelaide under sustained pressure, but all were crap. Mind we could easily have been three or four up at half time and out of sight.

Plenty of flair in the front three though. Doubt any team in the league could put three together better than Kamau, Brandan and Fornaroli.
