City v Adelaide - Elimination Final 5th of May 2019
Thiem replied to IssySG's topic in Melbourne City
Sydney or Perth away in semi finals... pick your poison. -
Perth vs Wellington.. need Wellington to lose by 2 goals at least for us to move into 5th. Would we prefer to face Adelaide away or Victards here?

There's nothing inspector clouseau can't solve.

You underestimate the power of the dark side of the force.

Reddy is shit.... And God McCormack is chubby

Poor record in Perth. We'll perform as horrible as the aleague's ticket sales this season. Perth under pressure to perform.

Jw1739 & King of hearts birthday round, 6th January, 7:50 KO

Smart, but still common sense substitutions by Joyce, I don't think he deserves any credit for the come from behind win. Armani will be on the bench next match, Muscat will be in starting eleven (even though he didn't perform too bad in comparison with jakobson). Whatever happened to that defence wins championships quote? Well Joyce isn't even good at executing his preferred, defensive gamestyle and relies on individual brilliance from schenkenveld to have a somewhat competent yet still lackluster defence. -

After having my big Mac I'll be bigger than Ross... The true fan experience the city football group aspires to achieve. -

Could be 2-0 down... Fortunately the nux have less coordination then a person with tourettes having an orgy -

Im not too familiar with the glorious heart days... Can you please remind me of them? -
It puzzles me with how Mitch Marsh is in this test side.

Roar are a different side when at home, much better then when they are on the road... I'm expecting a frustrating 3-1 loss with Aloisi and the gang conquering the 'anti-football'.

FFA Cup 2016: Quarter-final v. WSW Wed 21 Sep 7.30pm AAMI Park
Thiem replied to jw1739's topic in Melbourne City
City for the cup? By the quality we showed on Wednesday evening then yes, however consistency needs to prevail first. I assume we may be facing an a-league outfit in the semis being either shitney or tards (thats if they beat Bentleigh). A home semi would certainly be scrumptious though. -
Dave Davaukovic stated that he believes JVS is staying on for next season.

No premiers plate for Aloisi brothers, and thus the title of this thread should be "That feel when Amor wins the title."

Only positives I had in the match was my souvlaki pre game and my cheese Kransky with onions and cheese at half time.

Probably last edition for the City Insider, a great freebee it has been to the match day experience as I enjoy doing the Q and A section of it. Hope to see this wonderful edition return to City home games next season. Only problem with City Insider is the fact that it is a fold out and not a booklet.

I'm to depressed to comment on this game but here we go. We still can finish first if Roar, Wanderers and United all lose next round. It is an unlikely scenario but I am praying that Victards and Nix can do us huge favours. Wanderers don't necessarily have to lose as a draw can still ensure us finishing top in which we do not deserve at all.
-
Just a heads up for my fellow city fans to refrain from interacting with Victards, as a Victard may mention on numerous occasions in his/her speech in regards to the amount of trophies that their team has won when comparing it to the amount of City's. Therefore, a Victard may sound like a broken record.

Are many MCFC fans making it over to Perth for the match?
-
Feeling very uneasy about this one. Despite our recent run of form and improvement within the defense, I still am not to confident
-
A bit of a curse conjuring eh? I don't understand why we need to wear our red and white kit when our home kit doesn't clash with Perth's kit.
