I think I read something about Khalfallah potentially leaving Victory? I rate him, wouldn't mind him at our club.

We definitely need to get some more wins and challenge the top teams to get anywhere members-wise. I know alot of City fans who won't get a membership because of the performances overall (though I've convinced a group of mates to jump on board next season). Still, gotta persist! I reckon we can get there.

A disappointing game! Was there with a bunch of friends and family (all Victory supporters) for my birthday. I couldn't live it down all night On this 'old v new' argument... I started following Heart last season and then was even more on board when it was announced we'd be City. Appreciate the old and embrace the new, we as fans need to start working towards a unified front. Say what you will about Victory, but their atmosphere and active support killed it. Remember history but don't be bogged down by what was. It will take a few wins, and for sure it will take time too. We're still in a transition phase. Stick by it, and stick by each other!

It just feels like we're bubbling under our real potential. Gonna have to wait and see the next few rounds how we go.

Agree with most of the posts here. I'd rather sacrifice some quality now to ensure he is completely fit and healed. He will be no use to anybody if he is pushing through an injury. Gotta think a bit more down the line.

The derby is on my birthday. I'm heading in with 12 people, pretty much all Victory supporters. And I think the tickets we got are in a MVFC active area. ... This should be fun.

Ahh it was a great day (despite the draw) There was a bloke in Prem A heckling the shit out of Carney. I swear he made me laugh so much, was awesome. Carney looked like he wanted to jump into the area and start shit. So we all joined in and gave it to him haha I think I'm gonna like this season

I agree with what you mean, but not necessarily what you say. Not trying to be rude at all so please don't take me that way but the way I see it there should be a middle ground between honouring the old and attracting the new. Like it or lump it, if we can attract the 'Eurosnobs' attention to the A-League via the likes of Villa and Del Piero and garner enough interest in Aussie football we may be able to bolster our numbers! Getting them to the game puts them amongst the atmosphere active area supporters create, so they might end up staying on after Villa leaves us. All I mean to say is as football lovers we shouldn't alienate subgroups. Welcome all and our numbers grow strong. That said I agree that throwing Heart chants in among City chants shouldn't be looked down on by us newer members. You always have to remember where you're from

Starting to get more of a feel for the type of ball we play. This is my first season as a member. Ramsey was poor. Out of position too often, but I've read LB isn't his natural position. I give the tiniest leeway for that. Murdocca looked like an energiser bunny running all over the place but agree he doesn't provide too much. Duff = Awesome. Mooy played well. Seemed like a game we should have easily taken stats-wise, but the playing back was a bit agonising. In short, I pretty much agree with all the above posts lol

In an idealistic world, I'd like to see a few more teams pop up outside of VIC and NSW (although a Geelong team would be good if they can get the support), though I don't think it'd be financially viable based on the comments I've read here. Another SA team would be great IMO. Feed off the rivalries to spur that Aussie fight we all love and have. That might attract more to the game.
