Don't forget that Brasil will go into the game with roughly a two goal advantage thanks to biased reffing and home crowd support. The question is whether that will be enough.

Judging by your username I believe you when you say names don't matter to you much. I'm bit hungover, is this sarcasm or genuine? I was just having a dig at you. Not serious. On a serious note though... I do believe that names are important and the first thing the previous administration got wrong was choosing the name Heart. I believe Melburnians is flawed but it's not as bad as Heart and its problem is not so much that it's bad but that it's not particularly good.

I feel sorry for the guy that designed the logo- I know you're on here. It's actually a good logo just a bit too bright and happy for an active support gang perhaps.

Too generic. Would be like Sydney's active supporters calling themselves "Sydneysiders"...

One reason to go to a vote even if it was obvious what the answer would be is to make people feel like they chose the name or that it really was the most popular. But it might have caused more problems so I don't know, maybe this is fine. Just seems a bit strange to be talking about including everyone and then not having a vote- something I think most of us were pretty much expecting despite what the exact working may have been.. I think the logo is good just needs a minor tweak. What that tweak is I don't know.

I watched Green Street Hooligans last night for the first time so now I get where some of the names come from and especially the weird liking for unmemorable acronyms like "MCT".

I would if I could but unfortunately I live as far from Manchester as you guys do from Sydney. It would cost me upwards of £100 to make each game, with around 4 hours' travel either side. That's not a time/money commitment I can really afford, unfortunately. You just pretty much described going to any away game in Australia besides Victory. So imagine if the only away game within a 12 hours drive of Man City was Man Utd. And also imagine if instead of the World Cup games being at 5pm and 9pm they started at 2am and finished at 8am. Being English has its perks.
