If we beat Newcastle tomorrow and if Sydney take points away from Brisbane on Saturday then we'll be a win away from securing 2nd on the ladder and an ACL spot next year! That's fucking exciting (if the world actually returns back to normal!). That's only four "ifs"! lol

Will remind me of the good old Aloisi days when the stands were empty during our 23 matches winless run! 😆 -

FFA statement regarding COVID-19 impacts of football competitions including Hyundai A-League and Westfield W-League matches this weekend In relation to the Leagues, FFA can advise that this weekend’s Round 23 matches for the Hyundai A-League and the Semi Finals of the Westfield W-League will all proceed as scheduled. However, in consultation with Clubs, we will have agreed mitigation protocols to be in place for all matches. ... At this stage there remains no restrictions around Football events, however we are conscious to ensure a safe working environment for our players, match officials, staff and volunteers. Additionally, we are also working with stadia to optimise sanitation protocols for fans to ensure their safety. “We are currently taking advice from the Government Authorities and our Chief Medical Officer in relation to managing COVID-19 (Novel coronavirus), and we have also been working with our venues to provide increased levels of hygiene practices and access to all our valued fans and other stakeholders at all matches this weekend.” said FFA Head of Leagues, Greg O’Rourke. “In collaboration with Clubs and our key stakeholders, we are also ensuring our plans are scalable should the situation escalate further. This may involve playing matches behind closed doors in the future but again this will be based on Government advice. ... https://www.a-league.com.au/news/ffa-statement-regarding-covid-19-impacts-football-competitions-including-hyundai-a-league-and -
So after nine home A-League matches including two home Derbies our average is 9,062! Blame the bushfires, rain or heat, but that's woeful!

Yeah, this guy's got nothing bar some fancy stepovers! I'd take Kuzmanovski's stepovers any day! After the Wellington match Colakovski should definitely start ahead of Wales!

This kid needs more game time...should've had more minutes whilst Najjarine was on International duty.

Yeah, another ex-Victory player, real ambitious there! All players lose their shine after becoming Victards. Lucky for Marco, he hasn't gone full retard.

Perhaps his missus, child or even himself don't like it here, let's face it Australia has had more drama lately than the all of last year's episodes of Neighbours combined!

"He would, of course, complement Victory, but Marco Kurz has already signed five foreigners to his squad so he would need to release one of them before he could contemplate a move for Rojas." <-- I thought Kiwis don't count as Visa players and same goes for Aussie players at Wellington...will Rojas take up a Visa spot?

He was at the game last Friday night. Saw him leaving the stadium (and get in his Nissan) with his wife and little girl at half time. Was dressed very casual, shorts & t-shirt, which made me wonder then, 1. why is he leaving at half time and 2. why is he not wearing City clothes...now we know!
