Who we'll probably play in the Semi-Final based on tonight's result: WIN: WU stay in 5th and play Brisbane in 4th (WU to probably win) - Nix in 3rd play Glory in 6th (Nix probably win) and we play Nix in the Semi. SFC Vs WU Draw: WU move to 4th and play Brisbane 5th (WU to probably win) - Nix in 3rd play Glory in 6th (Nix probably win) and we play Nix in the Semi. SFC Vs WU Lose: WU move to 3rd and play Perth in 6th (WU to probably win) - Nix in 4th play Roar in 5th (Nix probably win) and we play WU in the Semi. SFC Vs Nix Considering their results since the restart I would rather play Wellington over Western United so this is definitely not a dead-rubber as I wouldn't want to play WU again in a week if we lose tonight. Happy to meet them in the final after they beat SFC (this will also remove any crowd advantage) 😀

I wouldn't call Cahill nor Honda "Big Name" marquees, but I reckon if we get to actually travel and play ACL next year CFG will pay more to get at least a more proven player... The problem is, why would any "big name" marquee (even in their twilight years) pick to come to Oz over China, Middle East, Japan or South Korea? Okay you can tell them, "you'll get to play in the *cough*Asian*cough* Champions League", but is that enough for someone like Iniesta to pick Melbourne over Japan?

TBH - in terms of the A-League Championship, whatever will be will be - I'm just really excited the fact that we're 1 point away from an automatic ACL spot! Who knows what will happen in terms of actually playing ACL next year, but finally...finally we'll have qualified and be amongst the best in Asia 😍

It all depends on whether that 27 rounds is for a club to play to be eligible to play ACL or for the Federation/League to have at least 27 rounds, which then every A-League club will automatically satisfy that requirement whether they go deep into FFA Cup/Finals series or not...
