Hi guys. I just bought my son a subbuteo. He loves it. I used to play it- well a million years ago- and I had forgotten what a great game it is. Just like your input; I would like to put the pitch on a wooden board for permanent strech and stick the goals as well. Any ideas on whats the best way of doing it? Thanks for your help.

Many of us that grew to love this club, we joined in for a variety of reasons. Many of us - including myself- joined in because of the colours as I'm a passionate fan of Olympiacos FC. After our first year though, I have stopped associating the colours with Olympiacos and now these are the Melbourne Heart colours. Now the club has established an identity that I love- and I don't think in any league of the world you'll see a team finish last and the crowd to be so passionate and noisy- and that passion and love is strongly associated with the MELBOURNE HEART colours. People might say that even we change the colours people will get used to it. Yes they will. Yes HEART will be forgotten. But....you have lost a set of fans that actually LOVE the club and the culture behind it. This culture has been build on the mediocre 4 seasons that we had so far.It has built the character of the HEART supporters that in the long term reflects to the club. I hope we keep the colours, be successful.... but I had leaved some wonderful moments from the last position. I don't think I have celebrated more that our second goal against Adelaide a few weeks back in Hindmarsh. I remember in Perth on our first final appearance the 20 of us that were there, the look in our faces after the loss. I can safely say that HEART supporters get upset not of the losses but when the team doesn't show heart. And that is the true face of a HEART fan. For me personally I don't think I will follow a club with different colours. Not because they won't be red and white but because they won't be HEART colours.

I just came back from Aloisi press conference in April 12th, 2014. We just lost to WSW in AAMI Park 0-5. Aloisi was asked about the whole year and how does he feel that Heart has finished last with only 2 wins. He replied: "I believe this year was a learning curve for us. We definitely gave it to the oppositions and made it hard for them. We were just unlucky not able to finish our chances. I think Mifsud will have a cracker of a season next year, and he will improve on his one goal from this year. "WE ARE MELBOURNE" should raise som eyebrows!!!.....if we do get a motto it should be something long lasting - obviously- and be Melbourne related. Can't really make any proper estimations with a friendly with Latrobe XI, but from what I saw today I loved Murdocca's workrate and I think he will be valuable to our squad. Also, Mitchinson looked better on the ball and made some good runs. I think Golgol is afraid to score goalgoals...

This is exactly the point of view of the people not wanting HK to Heart.....Even if he gets here we know that Heart was never his first option but just a stepping stone to go to Brazil.....Heart DOES NOT need HK....HK needs Heart....What we do now defines our future...and this HK story is one of our bad ones....same with Lucas last year...We look like we're begging people...Get a bloody marquee and a striker and get on with getting the team ready....

Many good points here.... If our beloved club is only about winning then go ahead and sign up and do whatever it takes....Then-in a few years- we'll see where this team is heading....We are close of creating an identity different of any other team, including the visitors. Moves like these, is at a wrong direction. This is my opinion. I'll support the club all the way...whatever they do.....but there's a lot of people that don't think that way....I think thay saying NO to Kewell will benefit us more as HEART.

Regarding the away strips: Most teams around the world slightly or completely change their away top every year. Heart should do the same for the obvious reasons that more people will buy them. If you have the same away top every year, there's nothing new for buying fans to look forward to. I never understood why the away strip must remain the same. Also, our away strip is NOT an away strip. Away strips are usually one coloured with exceptions of course. Also, if you see it from another angle, I'd like to come at work with my Heart top sometimes. I can’t. Because the away top is not wearable outside of game days!!!Our third kit was good this year; we need something similar as an away top from now on. Also, last year’s third kit was very disappointing. On another note, hopefully next year, we will be able to buy the new tops before round one!!!!!!

I asked Scott Munn in the fan forum -last year -why aren't we trying out Lakeside stadium for a few games-Perth and CCM as stated above-and he said that it doesn't meet A-league standards. I replied to him and "Morwell does???". He just shook his head. Lakeside is a brilliant idea as it will create an atmosphere and I reckon players will enjoy it as well.

At the end of the game Lucas Neil went to shake Foxys hand and Foxy didnt give it to him. Then Neil turned around and said fuck him to a sydney bench guy. He was really upset about it. I tried to offer him $5 to feel better but for some reason he ignored me.
