  1. Mayyyte. It won't matter as the home end is going to be packed out on Friday night. Wouldn't that be the day. Let's start concentrating on the other end
  2. Maybe before the game starts, the guy with the loudspeaker should encourage everyone to seat more to the middle behind and around Yarrasside. That way more people will get involved and also it will sound and look better.
  3. That would be very good, to expose them to our fans, but unfortunately people cannot leave work early. We will all seat at the Yarraside end, that way they will feel the atmosphere. If I can get half of them back it will be good. I've asked them to sign up so they don't miss out on the "sell out" Del Piero game. That's a good selling point for potential new members. Use it. Also, the sign up of new members should be easier via the web. For example, I checked WSW website, and it's so easy to sign up in a few steps. Potentials Heart members need to sign up to sportsub??? Should be 5 clicks to become a member. One guy at work went to sign up and he said "cant be bothered registering now. I'll do it at the game".
  4. Managed to get two more people from work and waiting for another 7 to reply. Just walked around the office asking people. Just ask everyone around you. It won't hurt. Just a question. Friday night, dinner at Swan street bla bla bla. Also, let them know of the $55 membership
  5. Definitely happy for Mick to pursue his career further and Heart to get some needed cash. Just pointing out how much we are going to miss him on the field. As far as filling the position we have to wait and see. Players with so much efficiency as Mick are not easy to find.
  6. When most of the goals we cop come from the right side, then we will realise how important Mick was. He was the guts of Heart. Hopefully I"ll be proven wrong. Good luck to Mick and hopefully we"ll see him back one day. PS: Mick has been my favourite player since day one.
  7. I think all is said so far for our season. I'm very angry at our team so I'll sum up: Fred,Thompson, Hoffman, Bolton - Enough. Bye bye Aloisi - Needs to go to coaching school to learn the basics . e.g. What is the role of a DM? Also, punish him by making him watch Fred and Hoffman's errors all day. Clockwork orange style. Us - Keep it up. We are probably the only ones that do. Also, Why do we collapse when we cop a goal? Why? Because like someone else said in this forum players like Thompson, Fred even Bolton have no grant. They are like little boys. They probably need a pat on the back during game play?????? AAAA!!!! and also to all fans of any color: Heart will not fold. Some minor changes and we'll be ok. We have a decent squad. It's the few that ruin it for the rest. e.g. no A-league has defenders like Behich, Marrone and Gerhardt. And also can someone advise Scott that football is round!!!!!
  8. Please Heart. Keep this up. Passion, will to win, exhausted players. Thats football with Heart. Only positives - minus Fred- from yesterday. Unlucky not to get some points. But I dont give a fuck. I enjoyed my team yesterday, and left with a tear but also a smile. JUST KEEP THIS UP. PLEAAAAAAAASE.
  9. Australia and football has offered a lot to Les. He's been taking, taking, taking. He has given nothing back. Dont comment on our Heart or Melbourne Les. Stick to Sydney with your mates.
  10. Hey Heart players? Do you think that us (fans) are worried too much about losing? Well let me tell you we are not. We want to see 11 players and coach to be giving all they got. Thats it. If I under perform at my job Ill get a warning and probably get sacked if I continue. Do you hear that Thompson, Hoffman and co? What the fu#* do you do at training all week? Do you call that football? My U10 team has more passion than you. Youre creating a loosing mentality that passes onto the fans and the new fans. If you dont care thats fine. But LEAAAVE. The season is probably gone to waste so lets bring on the youngsters. Did anyone else wanted to break the tv last night? What was that? We must be the most boring team in the comp. theres no plan. Nothing+ our players have no passion whatsoever. I dont care if we beat victory 10-0. I want to see football with passion and plan. And the current squad and management cannot provide that.
  11. Agree with kiro kompiro in most parts as I think we should all attend games and become members every year. That is giving Heart another chance. Now, as far as CEO and board is concerned it is clear that they are not worried about fans or the future of Heart but only how to break even. Munn is not a football person and its now clear that he doesnt understand the game. He should spend the money on a technical director to give us direction. We do not have that now. Aloisi was a bad idea and van Schips style has long gone. As I have pointed out before, if Heart continues this was it will fold. Heart ATM is there just to be there. It feels like we are the boy in a class that nobody plays with but it has to be in class because he was told to. That is a reflection to the people managing the club, and as kiro pointed out it goes all the way to the pitch and onto the fans. Hopefully the people that own the Heart will realise soon whats going on and do something. Otherwise the team does not have a future. And at the end of the day: How dare you do that to the Heart fans?
  12. Apologies again!!!! Didn't know singing about players can be so much fun!!! I retract my comments:-)
  13. Well....if its fun for the boys and girls who am I to argue!!!!
  14. Insulting the yarraside???? Apologies if I offended anyone. Not my intentions especially for the yarraside boys. You got this the wrong way. Yarraside is the Heart of the Heart. there's no one that can argue that!!!!
  15. In order to get people to follow the Heart result and good football is the key. Our side is very inconsistent. You don't have to see game to game, just the last one with Newcastle. Anyway, Heart is definitely not in a good road as members and people are decreasing And everyone in the club is in lala land. From Aloisi to Munn. It seems like they don't care AT ALL. That includes a few players as well. Munn has been saying all these years, we are not a marquee team bla bla bla. i agreed with that. I'd rather have youth and good football. But.....he wants to give 1.7 million all of a sudden for Beckham??? Why didn't he pay a little bit more and get Del Pierro for two years? Beckham for 10 games??? For other teams to benefit in the 5 away games? To go from 30000 to 5000 in 5 home games? What kind of logic is that? If we had someone like Del Pierro or even Heskey we would've been minimum top 4 now. i know, Munn and John D and whoever is at Heart are only looking how to increase revenue and that's fair enough. But at least, show a little bit of grunt. Don't play, and underestimate the supporters. We'll be there in a few years time. You might get a job at Victory and wear blue in a few years. (True) Fans will never do that Blame someone for crying out loud for the performances. We had a chance with Wellington(11000) to score a few and we completely missed it. Who is responsible? Coach? Players? Me? You? All of us. It has been so frustrating this year + you have the other Melbourne team to be playing some pretty good football in such a short time. Where are the fans going to go??? Cant find one reason for someone that wants to follow a team to choose Heart. Sorry for the bla bla but I'm very frustrated at our club. Heart People: DO SOMETHING!!! SAY SOMETHING!!! MOOOOOVE!!!!!
  16. Victory - Heart 2-4 Hat trick by Mac first half and one from Thompson at the end
  17. I don't know who is covering who regarding the incident on Wednesday night, all I know is what I saw. And I saw a 10 year old kid runnning scared crying-with a Heart scarf on- looking for his dad. Melbourne Knights should be held accountable for the incident, and Heart must not play them again. I know its Didulica's favorite club and probably that's why this has gone under the radar. A pre-season game with a few hundred supporters turned out a nightmare-even for a few minutes- for attending families. Mr. Munn should do something about this. If any of our supporters are interested in other things rather than the football and the club, then they can join a premier league side. Wednesday night reminded me the awful days-for some beautiful- of the old NSL.
  18. Curtis Good will play EPL this year and will be in the first team. From the first time I watched Curits in last years pre-season it was obvious that he is above the A-leauge level-whatever that is-. Once he gets the chance to come in and play, he'll be irreplaceable. very good scouting by Newcastle.
  19. Various European trips but most importantly: Sydney,Adelaide, Gold Coast, Wellington, Newcastle, Perth(finals) to watch the Heart during last season. And all pre-season games which were interesting drives. Central Coast, Western Sydney and Brisbane a definite this year. With Brisbane and Central Coast in the space of 6 days is a no brainer.
  20. Why is the name and logo an issue for some?? These things grow into the fans mind as years pass. What the team name and logo represent, is for current and future generation of Heart supporters. It takes YEARS for a team to have a character. And that character requires a past. Something that we have little of. The team logo is just that for now: a logo. This with the years passing by - hopefully- will become an amblem and later a way of life and to some a religious picture. That's how it is. We DO NOT change somethnig becauue of "some" people. We do not change something because it doesn't look good to some. Logos and names must remain as intended, and those logos and name will either cause fear, respect or laughs in the future, due to the football and not the way it "sounds" and/or "looks".
