Not sure I've ever seen a test wicket keeper worse than this Pakistani bloke. Should be playing club cricket somewhere.

How many people live in Pakistan? Surely they have someone better than him!

Can you believe it?

India on the ropes in the first test! 5 down, still need 350 to win. O'Keefe the destroyer!

looks like we've prepared well ( in Dubai, so the helpful Indians couldn't let us practice on green tops).

And that's it. 333 run victory in the first test.

most people would have predicted the score, just the other way around.

Monstrous win. Test cricket on decks that favour bowlers is just about the pinnacle of sport imo.

What a surprise that the spinner with a 22 FC average turns out miles better than all the spinners tried until now who had FC averages of 35.

I could create an algorithm in an hour that makes better selections than the selectors.

Any chance this game was thrown?

Just sayin.

"Gary" Lyon running through the Indians in Bangalore and how about Kohli's dismissal???? He'll never live that one down, looked like a park cricketer.

http://www.cricket.com.au/news/virat-kohli-leaves-ball-lbw-nathan-lyon-shoulders-arm-no-shot-australia-india-bengaluru/2017-03-04

to make it even funnier, kohli took that to review.  Sorry mate, no Indian umpires in this game.

He's just responding to me bagging him out.

He had a poor Australian summer, but bowled very well in Pune. Anyone calling for him to be dropped after Pune didn't know what they were talking about.

So are we actually good or are India just shit?

The question you always wonder when you win against the odds!

Look we seem to be playing very well, Gary was bowling what looked like hand grenades & the openers looked solid.

I suspect India might have got a bit ahead of themselves before the series started and now are in a hole as a result.

im backing Shaun Marsh to get a century this innings and just finish em off.

Lyon is the best Australian spinner by that far its not funny. O'Keefe is tidy, but he is nothing on Garry.

Australia are doing well, India underperforming with the bat a bit.

Red line, out for 66 after having done the hard work.

To those who only know 20/20, S Marsh is the best player of spin in the country and the sub continent is the place to play the guy.

Anyway we have to bat last, so in this wicket we need to be 50 ahead to be even.

Hazelwood looking plain nasty on that wicket and Lyon bowling hand grenades at the other end.

Yeah fair dinkum hard top level cricket.

pity about the end though, we capitulated there. Test deserved a closer finish.

Unless it's a road for the next one we have to bring in Khawaja for M Marsh, guy's a passenger right now. If it is a road we'll need a decent 5th bowler, Agar or M Marsh I guess.

I'm more than happy to bring a bat in for the all-rounder. Its honestly beggars belief that Mitch Marsh gets picked on decks like this. I think the guy is a handy bowler but hes not going to get bowled much in Indian conditions, so pick a better batter.

Aussies win the toss and bat. Horrible pitch who knows, could be finished tomorrow.

Not bad 4/200 odd. Anything over 450 will be a good first innings score.

It's a road apparently. 450 would keep us in the game.

Yeah looks like it. Maybe 550 to 600 is par.

Can't believe how well maxwell batted. Looked like he belonged (apart from a reverse sweep he missed completely in the 70s). Fantastic partnership. Smith needs to get 200 now and maxwell a whole lot more.

India now 150 ahead and we have to play for the draw. First task, get to stumps without loss.

Wades dropped catch really hurt us. Not sure why we have our best keeper back in Oz.

Another tough, absorbing contest. Pretty even right now.

I must say though I get confused why our selectors insist on selecting someone who can "bowl a bit" at 6, then the captain refuses to bowl them. Why not just pick our next best batsman and be done with it?

Is this the best series since the 2005 Ashes in England? Every test, every session has been absorbing TestMatch cricket.

Game on a knife's edge here, the GOAT showing why hes easily the best Australian spinner.

Just as we look absolutely fucked, that happens. What a test!

Still going to be tough from here even with a small deficit, but if we can get a 200 run lead we are a big chance.

Need a miracle to win it from here.

But still very impressed with the entire series. For ages it's been a zero chance win situation but this series at times we have been a genuine chance.

That was a fantastic series, showed why test cricket is No 1.

Unfortunately we didn't win, just a couple of bad sessions really cost us. In the end I reckon we needed to get more from the experienced batsmen Warner & S Marsh, needed runs from those guys in the second innings in Bangalore and in this last one and they both failed.
