Silly Englishmen were trying to justify it by saying they had a second string team out there, but that was only in the second half, in the first half they had a first 11 and were losing 2:0 before doing the good old 11 substitutions at half time (before the 6 sub limit was introduced) Aloisi's hair needs a mention. Coming into the tournament, nobody expected us to get that far, let alone further. As for the Italy game, fair enough, Australia dominated, but that was after Materazzi was wrongly sent off and Italy played most of the game with 10 men. Then the penalty - and that discussion can stop there. In the end, I think it was a great tournament for the Aussies, and that team surprised a lot of people.
