Mark77
Next game is against Western United on Nov 4. Western United's website doesn't list a venue and Ticketek does not have tickets for sale even though tickets are for sale for Western's following game on November 8. Only thing I can think of is both teams have agreed to play it "behind closed doors", Western because they have no fans and City because they would rather their fans didn't see them play. 2
imgonegg
Goal.com has the venue listed as aami park which was taken from a season preview article posted by Melbourne city. I've heard rumours that the police won't let wun host either Melbourne city or victory at ironbark fields out of fears over a dangerous crowd. I doubt western united would bother moving the match to a bigger venue just to not sell any tickets though, if they knew they weren't gonna make any money on ticket sales they'd keep it at a venue that won't cost them anything to play at. Mark77
Venue TBC. You might be right imgonegg. There must be behind the scenes negotiations about the venue and possibly Vicpol are involved over safety concerns. But to not have a venue a Week before the match is poor. moops
I have a bad feeling about this game, Grimaldi, Ibasuki and Pierias will terrorise us with their speed and dribbling skills. Vidmar has a lot to do in making us more compact and have an effective press before the game.
