bazzatron
Win8 will flop at the consumer PC level. Tablets are another thing, after using it today it would work well on a tablet.

bazzatron
Updated the IOS recently? Or changed a password on your email or facebook or something and the phone keeps trying to login but then failing. That will use battery. Braveheart
Anyone got any credible idea when the fucking Telcos (optus in particular) will get off their asses and give us jellybean?
Deviant
probably another month... pretty sure jellybean has been released on all devices... the sgs3 has a release and so does the galaxy tab/tab2. the asus transformer i have at home is also updated to jellybean. im pretty sure the HTC one x/xl have got jellybean released also. The telco's are just arses when it comes to updates. surely its not that hard to pre-install 'bloatware' they arent making changes to the GUI! Deviant
Great news for you HTC Users: Remember yesterday's rumor from down under about Jelly Bean coming to select HTC One handsets? Well it's now fact. HTC has just confirmed that the One X, One XL and One S will be getting upgraded to Android 4.1 at some point in the (hopefully near) future. Here's the company's statement:"We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google's latest version of Android. At this point in time, we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL and HTC One S to Jelly Bean. Please stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details about HTC and Jelly Bean." We've also learned that in addition to the aforementioned global models, carrier versions of the One X and One S for AT&T, T-Mobile and Rogers will also be receiving Jelly Bean. No word yet on timing, or whether the One V, EVO 4G LTE and Droid Incredible 4G LTE are included in those update plans. http://www.engadget.com/2012/07/20/htc-confirms-jelly-bean-for-one-x-one-xl-and-one-s/

Tesla
You guys dont even have 4.1.2? Mad my DHD is running 4.2.1, and is therefore better than your s3's even though its 2 years older?
Deviant
lol. you have the google experience, we have touchwiz. overall, our phones are a lot better. although you get your updates quicker because its a google phone, we get our updates slower but they add more features. it wont be long before 4.2 is released on the S3/S4. Updated last night to 4.1.2. Very responsive, fixed a lot of issues with mms. i love the customization options it adds. I haven't found a need for the split screen yet... but i dare say that it would help my research for football manager handheld 2013
