Murfy1
Adelaide Blue Eagles’ sharp stopper Chris Annicchiarico is, according to sources, on Melbourne Heart’s radar. The outstanding defender could be the fourth Adelaide-born player to head to Heart in three seasons after pending Socceroo Craig Goodwin started the trend by signing with the club in 2011 before joining Newcastle Jets last year. Annicchiarico, 21, is a former Adelaide United youth team member. He may well be the third player with former Reds connection after Stefan Mauk and Ben Garuccio signed for Heart last year. SA’s Birkalla defender Adam Le Cornu has also attracted Heart’s interest. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/football/back-of-the-nets-five-most-entertaining-a-league-players-to-follow-on-twitter/story-fni2wcjl-1226682133573 Edited July 19, 2013 by Murfy1

Nate
Would rather we promoted someone from the youth team but if he's good enough, why not.

Murfy1
Would rather we promoted someone from the youth team but if he's good enough, why not. Agree. I wouldn't mind another good young Australian defender. Annicchiarico could be like Craig Goodwin or Brendan Hamill, that is, another good young Australian player worth poaching from another state. If he's better than youth team or Victorian options, then I'm fine with this player. If we signed him though, it would mean that we'd only have 3 outfield positions left (that is, 3 positions left in general, if we signed Annicchiarico and a backup GK). And given that we currently have two VISA spots left, as well as both our international marquee and Australian marquee deals available, those last 3 signings would ALL have to be quality signings (2 quality international players and 1 quality Australian player). Deluka
Let's just sign one of Annicchiarico or Le Cornu so we'll have something to talk about...
Luke
We need to be signing proven quality.

Che
this club. fark Seriously? Fuck guys just let the club go about its business of signing players it deems worthy and judge them by their actions on the field and contributions to the clubs standing. Until then give them a chance ffs.
n i k o
People want them to make rash decisions which will damage our chances of having a successful team so that they can come on here and complain some more about all the bad decisions the club has made.
