One of my mates who came along and is just getting to learn about the game, said it was bad form to boo your own player. I don't want to stand for that as a supporter. I don't like Hoffman in the line up as much as anyone but I will never ever boo my own. If you look carefully you will see a Fox person on the sidelines at the entrance to the tunnel (usually a youngish female this season) giving the signals to the referee whether to hold the KO for a few more seconds or start the game.
