  1. I think he would look great in red and white. In fact, everybody does.
  2. After being nearly invisible in the first half. Yep true but if it was David Villa who pretty much wasn't in the game and then popped up with the winning goal we'd have hailed him as a hero and said that he showed his 'true class'. Not sayin' that Brown is in Villa's league Pretty much sums up Villa's spell with us doesn't it?
  3. Impact's season ticket prices for 2015. Compare to the A-League. http://www.impactmontreal.com/en/content/billets-de-saison-2015
  4. So what you guys are saying is, he is most effective hanging around Cash Converters. Fair assessment IMO.
  5. The reasons listed above are probably why Germano is still at the club. Hopefully he can stay fit and become a key player.
  6. Under the cap he might be Ok. As a marquee? I think it is fair to say that our paying supporters should be treated to a player of a higher calibre.
  7. I don't know about the football, but the red and white stripes are mint.
  8. I was at work whilst this game was being played. Looks like a very good win. Great atmosphere and the highlight has to be the reactions of the South American coach. Love it! http://www.impactmontreal.com/fr/news/2015/03/faits-saillants-imfc-2-0-alajuelense
  9. Montreal Impact's web promo for the semi final of the CONCACAF Champions League against Alajuelense. http://marquonslhistoire.com/en/semifinals/ Thought it was pretty cool.
  10. The A-League. The reason Euro Snobs are Euro Snobs.
  11. Luton. At least away supporters can now get into their ground.
  12. I noticed the picture of Chivas Guadalajara's stadium in NYCFCFan10's Mexico pics. and I was reminded of Chivas USA (which was based in LA) and that the concept of an overseas club taking a spot in the league modelled on the home club overseas flopped miserably. http://www.espnfc.com.au/chivas-usa/story/2112968/mls-shuts-down-chivas-usanew-clubownership-to-return-in-2017 On a global scale, I hope this represents the future of this type of venture. Local clubs that represent the people of the city they are in are the way to go.
  13. Ante Milicic. Both Popovic and Postecoglu (at international level) have done well with him and poorly without. I just want to see what this guy can do.
  14. I would like to see the active do another sit down silent protest - just to see a repeat from the 70 Y.O Euro man yelling at the active area to stand up and sing whilst throwing his hands in the air to get GA to join him in the JA protest. Classic moment.
  15. Get this guy in, substitute football player for furniture and make things happen!
  16. I am looking forward to seeing how Jeb Brovsky goes in NY. Was one of my favourite players for Impact a couple of years ago. 100% man. Injuries and age may have hindered him a bit, so will be interesting.
  17. What about promising players from the NPL and developing them? I have been disappointed with the lack of young players as well as early to mid-twenty's late starters getting a go. All we seem to get is the A-League recycling factory.
  18. Should be teaching his children instead how to play three games in 3 years and get payed to do it. It will show up when they go to do work experience, and the first thing they do is ask for the Workcover form.
  19. Classic. Mint strip. Bold colours that provoke passion. Bring back the red and white.
  20. Interesting the pic they used for the Melbourne location was of Melbourne Heart last year. You would think they would have had enough time to airbrush that history away by now Hadn't gone that far. http://www.cityfootballschools.com/Schools/Australia/About-Us God, that kit looks so good! I tried to have a look and got this message: The page you are looking for experienced a problem or is temporarily unavailable. Please try one of the following options: If you typed the page url, check the spelling Start from the Home Page, and look for links to the information you want. Click the Back button to try another link. Which strip was shown?
  21. If only Murdocca would/could shoot. How many times has he had to stop moving forward because the only option left would to be have a go at goal. A shame really because he is otherwise a quality midfielder.
  22. He couldn't sign crickets he got a couple of slugs instead. http://www.slugterra.com/ ???
  23. 11000 members. Sounds better than reading out the match day attendance.
  24. No Beckham/Villa/Lampard/Gerrard/Cahill, no Melbourne City! Why should I attend games if there's no big name marquee to watch? Oh that's right, because I BLOODY LOVE FOOTBALL AND I BLOODY LOVE THIS CLUB!! Name change coming upBlue or Dead Not even funny I BLOODY LOVE THE HEART!!! I was just about to "like" this post. Then I realised I already had. Bring back the Heart.
