I feel for Hendry and wish him all the best - hope it's not as serious as it is thought to be and hope his recovery goes well.

I don't really care about the effect on the club. We don't deserve to win anything anyway.

totaly agree JW it's the same every year positive start leading to a total failure after Xmas we are NOT going to finish second more likely 5ht or 6th .

The point isn't being like victory. I agree from that perspective with @rass @Embee @Shahanga. However, it feels like @Mr MO is coming from the point of view that the direct similarity between Kurtz and Joyce ball and how the club's respond is the sticking point. The Joyce tenure is still raw. And fans, it seems, haven't forgotten so easily how the club was almost brought to it's knees instead of acting earlier, in the same like as victory. Not all supporters feel as strongly about it.  But after what we went through last season supporters can't be blamed for feeling a little envious that our club didn't act in a similar way in this. I certainly don't.

Hence the reason for our cancellation of our memberships last December(2018) to wait and see what will happen. We voted with our feet as this seemed to be the only way we could tell the club what we felt about Joyce etc.

Fuck me. The weather was shit but otherwise a dominant display by the boys and probably the best terrace in years.

This was, i think, the main reason for the poor crowd the weather probably convinced people to stay home and watch it on TV. It certainly was a very impressive performance spoiled by bloody awful weather, i was there and it was very raw cold weather.

Also an interesting replay and TV comment on one foul that Piscopo won. Essentially he ran into the City player and then threw himself to the ground. That's not to say some City challenges weren't worthy of sanction, but the overall impression was of one eyed refereeing, which ignored poor Wellington challenges (their German bloke could have been off for two challenges, both of which arguably looked card worthy) and some canny play acting.

So I've limited sympathy for the hand wringing over the penalty. It was a poor refereeing performance, but City were by far the better side and deserved the points.

    My thoughts entirely.
