  1. Took the 100 I put on the Bruest +Hawks bet and have chucked it on the Hammers to win tonight. Because Even if they lose, I'm 300 dollars up and will still be happy as the hawks got up.
  2. Yeah i mentioned that on here about a week or so ago. Its a fuckin joke. Apparently Melbourne City supporters dont reproduce so why whould they release junior or infant kits. Fuckin joke. Im going to call Nike today. The club said the same thing to me with infant kits for last season. Searched heaven and earth for one and ended up getting one in the end Little odd as even WSW has nike kids shirts (No infant). So i'd imagine that the club has decided not to get any produced at all, Replica shirt idea isn't too bad but should have matched the home kit a little more, With "hero" printing (Villa, Koren, Duff) etc (Kinda how MLB has shirts that match the jersey or like the NYCFC player Shits). 3. Sakho with a great chip this morning against liverpool https://vine.co/v/OW3g0A0Ieaw
  4. Doubtful, City would want their new look to be shown in these high profile matches, Unless they use it to appease the old heart fanbase
  5. This also just occurred to me, How often do we think we'll get to see the red and white stripes this year? There is absolutely no need to change out of our home kit for any games, maybe just some sky blue or navy shorts for the match against WSW.
  6. I completely understand the 'legacy' point of view, and even as a "when I'm old I'll have my family around me" and will comfort me in the nursing home etc. But that doesn't seem to go through the heads of most people my age having kids atm who appear to be doing it cause it seems to be 'fashionable', the expected thing to do (The kinda marriage, house, with a white picket fence and kids style), Or friend/family member X has had one so should I.
  7. This! Especially as presently most family is on my back for Grand kids. To be honest I can't see what all the fuss is about having them, or the general assumption that I'd be a better person for having some.
  8. Fuck the kits, I Just want a MelbCity N98!
  9. It's a mix of unrealistic expectations and a bit of fans wanting their favourites in the squad (Such as most hammers fans with Nobel), Also a past trend for players not to be dropped despite sub par performances because they play for a big club (Cleverly). I thought the squad performed quite well this morning, then you have English fans who think the only reason we won is because switzerland are a very limited side with no inspiration or flair . Fact is we won our toughest (paper) group match 0-2 and fans still want more or believe it was due to the other team being average. Even if England won a world cup they'd find something to complain about.
  10. Should just use their training kit.
  11. The groups: Group A: Atlético Madrid, Juventus, Olympiacos and Malmo of Sweden. Group B: Real Madrid, Basel, Liverpool and Ludogorets of Bulgaria. Group C: Benfica, Zenit-St. Petersburg, Bayer Leverkusen and A.S. Monaco. Group D: Arsenal, Dortmund, Galatasaray and Anderlecht. Group E: Bayern Munich, Manchester City, CSKA Moscow and Roma. Group F: Barcelona, P.S.G., Ajax and Apoel. Group G: Chelsea, Schalke, Sporting Lisbon and Maribor of Slovenia. Group H: Porto, Shakhtar Donetsk, Athletic Bilbao and BATE of Belarus.
  12. Missed a call from Duff in regards to re-signing up this year. So the ring around is happening at the moment. Might see a increase in membership numbers over the next couple days.
  13. Actually that was the Croatia social club. The club distanced themselves from the decisions made by that group and actually denounced them. Where is the line drawn? Is a club responsible for the actions of all supporters, social clubs, and the community at large? I don't think it's fair at all to criticise this stance against the FFA purely based on the actions of a small minority. They kinda had too though, when the media caught onto it all. The point is that the club has a history of racism at their games, have seen it myself. Regardless though, as much as I dislike the Knights I think they have reason to be aggrieved, seeing that Broadmeadows Magic and other clubs were permitted to have ethnic sponsors on their kits and they weren't. So good on them for fighting the powers. Hope they take Lowy and co. to the cleaners Actually Knights did have their A.H.D Geelong+Melb sponsors on their kits for match. They were just restricted from adding the new MCSC.inc sponsor on the front, as the new law brought in disallowed ALL clubs to play in 'new' kits and must use their kits “as it appeared in their Member Federation 2014 league or cup competition, at the time of qualification to the Westfield FFA Cup 2014.” Supposedly due to the cost and timing issues of new kits etc, Yet FFA made clubs produce kits carrying the Cup badges..... . As the law isn't in writing specifically targeting Knights and applies to all clubs, the rule may not be viewed as discriminatory as all clubs are treated to the same standard. It just affects those clubs who still rely on their traditional community backing for support. FFA may have dug themselves a whole due to taking issue with the sponsors of Knights before introducing the ruling which could be seen as a knee jerk reaction to the new Knights sponsorship. Going to be interesting to see what the outcome from the Human Rights Commission in regards to the NCIP. Hopefully we'll see it abolished.
  14. Saba's was La Rocca at least had the defender lash out across his face and milked the hell out of it.
  15. What are the legal requirements for an air rifle such as these in Victoria? Been looking around online and haven't found a clear cut answer. Would a license be required?
  16. GreenSeater, Was the one your describing pretty much a MCFC version of one of these?
  17. Purvis in richmond. Picked up a dozen random beers when there so have a few odd beers to go through Got a Fullers Wild River while I was there. Hopefully it's pretty decent.
  18. Nøgne Ø. OMG. Expensive, But worth the price tag. One of the best brown ales I've ever had. Their stout is freaking amazing too. Might have to get through more of their range.
  19. Short colour choice is a bit odd! I know with the 80's inspired kit there is a distinct lack of blue, but i don't think we have ever had sky blue shorts for our home kit.
  20. Umbro Everton Home. Feyenoord Home. Ace as always.
