  1. We’re being taught a lesson in how to pass and move here. Some pleasantly surprising link up play from the Strikers.
  2. I'm mates with Michael Petrillo's nephew who does keeper sessions with Bouzanis. Told me today Bouzanis abused a fan after the match in front of the the man's son and Bouzanis is a dead man walking. He agreed Bouzanis is an egotistical shitcunt and deserves the send. Let's bring in a quality keeper who has full command of the area and a huge and confident presence on the field.
  3. This taggart cunt looks like someone who shouts at their wife in public
  4. Would strongly recommend Constant. Did wonders for me on football manager, really excelled as a deep lying playmaker.
  5. Heard from a mate last night who is in tight with a few of the squad that it was a coming together between him and Sorensen. A 50/50 1on1 and he twisted his knee backing out

    Aaron Mooy

http://theworldgame.sbs.com.au/article/2017/03/06/huddersfields-song-club-favourite-mooy watch the vid near the bottom for Huddersfield's chant for Mooy. Starts about 1:00 I think
  7. Could Izzo have kicked it into his own net to prevent the red after Bruno went down?
  8. Yes I realise that a scrap with other fans doesn't require a jacket with a logo or any other attire to show you're "fair game". Also the 'culture' I was referring to doesn't neccessarily refer to a bunch of blokes (organised or not) having a brawl or similar behaviour. Although fundamentally, wearing specific branded clobber does portray to those knowledgable an imagine of hooliganism and thugishness but the culture isn't really like that. I see people at grounds in the UK dress their kids in these brands and the last thing they would want is any type of trouble happening, it's more a universal 'passionate football fan' label now. This is probably a shocking explanation but just trying to say it's not limited to people who want a brawl but shows off your passion for the game when you walk in the ground with your stone island jacket on.
  9. Not sure where to post this but anyways... At the game last night I definitely saw a lot more people wearing brands associated with English 'casuals' than usual. When I first arrived here from UK in 2012 I saw little to practically no-one wearing these brands. Last night on the terrace I was surprised at the amount of Stone Island, CP company, burberry, fred perry, classic adidas trainer etc etc that I saw. Not just by the supposed groups at the front but in all parts. Anyone else noticed this?
  10. Weren't we singing ooooh Besart's a gypsy when the players were warming up near us? Lol could have put it in his head. Also if he gets done for racism, do we also for saying it if anyone of any authority heard?
  11. If his family actually are gypsies then would it ever be appropriate?
  12. 3 at the back and completely overdrive the midfield with Crowley right at the top all night
  13. Anyone know why the section next to the active isn't for City fans? Could have sworn it was in round 2
  14. Agreed, when he let it down in the FFA Cup Semi it looked nothing but magestic in the wind.
  15. I'll be at the march just ensure I safely enter the ground please.
  16. Just saying in the past 2 seasons every game I could attend we have won, and I'm going to this... Bout time for a loss?
  17. My XI Bouzanis (regrettably) Franjic Tongyik Jackobsen Colazo Brattan Kilkenny Caceres Fitzy Brandan Fornaroli Cahill on for Caceres/Bruno, kamau for either winger etc etc
  18. Friend who snowboards up at Mount Bulla is sponsored by Red Bull and heard murmurs at a recent function of Red Bull taking over Doncaster Rovers in the Men's State League 4. A plan similar to that of RB Leipzig with RB Doncaster planning to gain 5 promotions followed by the jump to A League and aspire to win it with their first attempt. Heard it here first.
  19. I don't think I've watched/been to an A League game for a long time that actually started on time. Victory vs Perth scheduled at 8pm and at 8:00pm they are still in the tunnel. Aware this is a shit post, just one of the things that peev me that I know shouldn't in the big picture.
  20. We're currently third on the ladder (how we are 3rd I do not know), and I feel like we are having a shit season despite there being 7 teams in a worse position that our club could potentially be in. We are the only team to have won silverware this year and we still have the masterclass of Bruno to look forward to whenever we go down to AAMI Park. Yet I and many of the people I go with feel so disconnected with the club and players this season. We have Aussie legend Tim Cahill on the pitch whenever we play which I thought would really rally the fans and drive the club forward and give it a different feeling from just being a CFG team. Without a change I don't see myself or the people I speak to who support city rekindling the same passion we had with the likes on Aaron and Harry to watch. I'm not saying a record breaking goal tally is needed to provide the energy and buzz around the club, but this style of play we are witnessing at the moment mixed in with changing to the full city blue next season and more than likely hiring a manager who will be another CFG puppet really doesn't do it for me. It's a shame because after last season I really thought this club was going somewhere and at the start of the season with the quality of our squad we were excited. Now half the squad seems either discontent or severely lacking confidence/motivation. I know there is still a way to go in the season and I hope Valkanis can turn it around but FFS, WTF have we dished up this season.
  21. Have been wondering recently what impact the Chinese Superleague will have on the A League/Australian football in light of some of the recent signings made by Chinese clubs. It gives the players of A League teams the opportunity to play against quality players in a competitive tournament that matters as opposed to friendly's made against European clubs during preseason which don't count for anything. Also ACL home games played on Australian soil should produce more public interest if the likes of Tevez and Oscar come to town. Who knows what teams they will put together in the future. Even though I see them as money grabbing and not playing for what I believe football is about there's no doubt the ACL games will continue to be more and more popular. Just something that crossed my mind...
