I think with Colazo and Jakobsen it could and should have been a different story if we were to play 3 at the back like we did today. It will continue to be a shambles if jvs keeps faith with Malik at CB in that system. If we do play WSW with this formation I pray that Jakobsen takes some command and Colazo can save Malik or rose's ass on the left. Any more friendlies before the FFA cup game? Hopefully because the backline will be as good as strangers to each other in a game which we have to win.

Stick Timmy at the end of all those crosses and you never know, could work out to be a gem for us

I had a season ticket at Sheffield United (the good days, ish) and this used to be their goal song. Really rocked the ground, make of it what you will. I assume it's a tune you all know of. Edit. I'm aware this is Burnley, you can hear the crowd singing it in last 10 seconds

He played in a friendly against the Tards back in 2010 I believe they won 1-0

Nah it's because people prefer to sit on their backsides wondering why Victards are still enticing new people to join, maybe active support is what drives people to their games? Those "flogs" are what creates any atmosphere, I've been on the GA side, could hear a pin drop, perhaps you'd prefer it over there ay?

Sort of disappointing to see there are still many seats left in our active bays. The areas of seats behind the bays in "City Blue" are full (almost, sort of), presumably to soak up the atmosphere as opposed to being on the GA side of AAMI. Shame to see the Active zones not having great appeal, then again, who doesn't love a good beer shower followed by the home shirt being stained by a stray tomato sauce soaked chip from the kid behind when we score.

To beat the 14/15 membership rally of approx 9100 we need over 30 a day before round one which at the current rate doesn't seem likely. Guess it balances on who else we bring in at this stage if at all.

If Villa could get nearly 3,000 (5582-8334) members in September than by that logic Cahill quite possibly could shoot us up near 10k. But also just like when Villa came I'm sure there will be the masses who come to the first game for the hype. BTW anyone know how many seats AAMI holds except the 2nd level areas? I know they opened that for villa and am wondering what demand would cause them to open it up.

7605! I'll stop now

Or he's got his hands on the FM17 demo and has been caught red-handed

Not sure if it's of any worth, coming from Paddys laptop is a formation that I have yet seen to be suggested. IMO it looks very interesting but could be just Paddy playing around or my detection skills are on point. Looks like a 4-1-2-3 or just a 4-3-3 variation with 2 CAM's edit. - good to see Paddy's allegiance to the CFG with the Man city badge on his board there

Anyone know the final figure we got to last season? Would be interesting to see how quickly we pass it
-
We've got Cahill, Timmy Cahill I just don't think you understand, he scored a cracker in Brazil, he's only on 6 mill, We've got Timmy Cahill or replace David Williams "super Dave" with "super tim" but whatever
-
Isn't this the clown who scored a 40 metre out own goal?
-
Well hopefully his first game will convince those who have doubts
-
See this is all great and I believe it could potentially create a huge boost for us initially come the start of the season. But what worries me is whether or not they will pounce on him if he doesn't make an immediate impact goal-scoring wise. Not that I give two what the papers say but they could really dampen the situation

FFA Cup 2016. Rd 16 V Brisbane Strikers Wednesday 24 August 7:30pm

And so it begins... -
IMO I can't see how we can grow, especially attendance wise, without signing someone with a reputation like Cahill. Sure some people think he's a flog but your average family with kids who idolise him only see him as a player they want to see play and produce his magic. We have mentioned before how being a flop could wreck his "brand" and even if he is in it plain and simply for himself and the money, his attitude to the game won't let his performance suffer. If he doesn't have a great season, as long he doesn't get in the way of Bruno and co I'm not bothered if it has improved our exposure to the community. Money clearly isn't an issue for us but if has a 15/20+ goal season and we win the league etc, well just think how much that will help us. Overall, if he has no impact, meh, new plan. If he does, fkn get in son!

Fuck Stone Island, CHL+ is the new gear

Already know he's going to star. Those baggy shorts are 100x better than the nappies Novillio used to wear pre-game.
-
Surely Mooy wrote that or something. loan spell would be over by the time he could stutter this one out
-
Seems pretty equipped to me if he could last more than a day without water while fasting for Ramadan on the streets of Bouake, Ivory Coast.

Bit of worthless trivia Stumbling across Bruno's Facebook page I see he is trained in "Uruguayan sign language". Perhaps there's a bit more to his classic celebration?
