Yep spot on. Petrillo is in charge of signings he is the classic Football director which all clubs have now. Managers say who they want but Petrillo is the one who shortlists and brokers the deal.
-
Some from FB group did that yesterday. Not true
-
The club shut it down on Twitter š¤·āāļø

Pretty good actually

Looks the one according to FB Susaeta the one I think

Rumour going around weāre announcing a player tommorow anybody have any idea who it is. Whoever it is the club has done well as itās not been leaked anywhere
-
Nabbout off contract most of their squad is over 20 players so probably build a team around Kruse and Rojas next season
-
Thatās what I thought as well League is pace and power and their current crop of Basha, Poulsen, Broxham are not good enough. That would have been the first thing I would have addressed not another winger when they have a good crop of them

City Football Group (CFG) [Owner of Melbourne City]

Yep they didnāt like Dobras and heās gone this window. We just put our heads in the sand when we all know heās gone in May. Could free up a marquee now so we have 2 visas and can chase the title but nope. Too much ambition for this club -

Going to Carlisle United
-
Too ambitious for the club probably. Any hints nationally etc ?
-
Who really trusts the club anymore when our visas from the last 2 years are the likes of Noone (barely scored and half the player he was in pre season), Berenguer, OāHalloran, Budzinski, Cabrera (last 9 games), Windbichler (injury proned) . Only good visas weāve brought in the last 2 years are Bart, De Laet and Ross (and in Ross due to Aston Villa couldnāt even stay the season and then CCM signing him the next) So while the team across town will end up with Rojas, I doubt our signing will even be on par with him with our track record of visa signings. Hope Iām wrong but our track record is horrible at the moment for a so called big club itās amateur really.
-
Weāre signing nobody can see it now. If we do it will be another UK hack not big signing like Alessandrini, Rojas etc. it will be Wales or some hack who couldnāt hit a barn door. Didnāt think Alessandrini would come to us, we donāt sign big name players. Just another let down
-
Wouldnāt surprise me if we fucked it up somehow like we do with any big major signing
-
well there goes that rumour
-
Need some one as front attack looks inferior. Nix Hooper, Ball, Davila, Victory : Rojas, Nabbout, Kruse, Ola Sydney Kosta, Ninkovic, Baumjohan, LeFondre Perth Castro, Ikonomides, Fornaroli, Chianese City : Wales, Jmac, Noone, Luna.
-
The whole club has a small club mentality tbh not ruthless. Victory ruthless ditch 2 players and get Rojas we should have got rid of Florin as well could have got a creative mid and winger but no we keep him for 6more months achieving nothing To the eventual release in May
-
Could just offered him a back ended deal like Maclaren
-
They got rid of Dobras and Brown apparently freeing up 500k. They also had 200k free in the cap as well
-
Itās called Ambition while our visas are in the treatment centre Windbichler and Florin . It can be seen we need a creative mid and wing as shown when we couldnāt break Sydney, victory or Brisbane down. But nope we will persist with wales on the wing who canāt shoot and no creativity in the middle. Weāre going to ditch Florin at the end of the season anyway whatās wrong with doing it now and having marquee and 2 visas open.

Yeah but been injured 4 times in the past 2 years with long layoff
