TPH1
The 4-1 against Brisbane at home, I remember how surreal it felt to win by such a margin against such a good team. The home game that was the culmination of the "One Melburnian" campaign (was it Adelaide or Sydney?). I brought a couple of my Eurosnob cousins along and I was so nervous that we were going to play like shit, but we ended up pulling out a really impressive performance, one to be proud of, and I remember Yarraside being fucking loud and inspirational that night too. The cousins still never came back but were very impressed and full of praise for Heart. Brisbane away with a great group of people. First away trip, the whole weekend was amazing - except the 90 minutes on the pitch haha. We lost 2-0 then got absolutely drenched in a Brisbane storm trying to get back to the hotel, but it didn't matter, we all went out to party anyway. Manuca crashing in our room on two armchairs that he pushed together haha. My first day in Yarraside. Never looked back. The behind the scenes of the Keep the Red and White campaign. Hilarity, ambition and determination. Love you guys! Best pre-game ever at Albury away, swimming in Lake Hume, then trying not to faint playing trumpet in the 43 degrees heat or whatever it was. And I agree with the above about the Newcastle game where we broke our win drought and Engelaar debuted, I can still feel the rumble of the stadium as "Oo, ah, Engelaar" rang out. Haunting and spine-tingling! Brisbane away with a great group of people. First away trip, the whole weekend was amazing - except the 90 minutes on the pitch haha. We lost 2-0 then got absolutely drenched in a Brisbane storm And what a storm that was ..... A river through the streets of Brisbane - I got a $70 Parking ticket to put the cherry on the top = Bastards
drewmelbcity
One of my memories was attending the game in morwell my mate drove so I drank all the way there, got to morwell three hours before the game so hit up a bar needless to say I continued to drink, by the time I got to the game I was rooted. On top of that I was pissing every ten odd minutes and I just happened to miss the only goal of the match. On the drive home I had the scarf hanging out the window, we were flying down the freeway when I had completely forgot about the scarf and I decided to wind down the window and in that instant I watched my scarf fly down the freeway behind us. I had to go back and get it, it was the original heart scarf with all my member pins attached. We turned back and thank fuck I found it, after that day I retired the scarf only to make appearances on special occasions e.g Derby games........hope the story is not too long Edited July 2, 2014 by drewmelbcity

Fredinho69
1. First derby long live Alex Terra! A night I'll never forget we were fkn brilliant! 2. 4-0 derby Kewell goal was the icing on the cake and we all went spastic 3. Matty Thompsons 2 goals in 5 minutes in derby 5 4. Williams's solo goal last year against Sydney was special and i just remember hugging about 3043329032 random kents 5. That rainy night against CCM where the match was about to be called off but after delaying it for an hour (i think?) the game was still played. The chanting in that game and all round energy in Yarraside was something special that night. Many more memories but these probably stand out above the rest. TPH1
Some great memories chaps... I was going to suggest a thread on your "worst Melbourne Heart moment" - But you only have to look at other threads to find that. Anyway, hands down it would be the day we lost the Name

drewmelbcity
One of my favorite moments even though we were at a low point of our history was the game against Adelaide United I believe last season when we were playing shocking and boring football and the Yarraside boys started singing some of the chants from our first year as well singing cheer like we just scored a goal and everyone when nuts even though the game was just in general play. Supporters stuck together at our lowest point which was good!
theresonlyonebzamora
- seeing jason hoffman score in front of 20 away fans in sydney. - ex-forum user peaches booking the wrong flight and getting to sydney 12 hours earlier than everyone else. - early riser days: $5 coronas in the beer garden, aftermath of settle down chaps, 'just can't get enough' on the juke coming back from 1-0 down against adelaide. - first ballarat game with percival the protestant duck - cad's old car there's been a few on field moments i suppose but it's mostly the same as everyone else

You could be right, the cheering was certainly the highlight of the game That game was hilarious! 'Let's pretend we scored a goal' was probably one of the funniest moments I've had at a Heart game. It also made me regret not following the A League and the Heart in their first season (I joined in their second but wasn't fully committed until the third) because then I would completely understand where the Sibon chant came from. You can imagine my expression when I heard Yarraside chanting about Sibon flinging his dick over his shoulder. lol
Kinnibari
Honorable mentions: - First derby, beating Victory in our first ever meeting was just so sweet. Being my first game in the stands made it sweeter. - 3-2 Christmas derby with Thompson's double. Coming back from behind was just so good. - 4-0 derby last year. Absolutely amazing. - The comeback against Adelaide in Adelaide in season 1. - Engelaar's goal vs Mariners. - Mebrahtu's goal vs Perth to win it in the 87th minute. - 2-1 win against Sydney including Williams' winner. But for me the greatest moment I have ever experienced as a Heart supporter was the droughtbreaking 3-1 win against the Jets at AAMI Park last season. After 19 long games without a win, getting the three points was the best feeling. I remember just how amazing it felt when that final whistle went and just how nuts the whole crowd went. Plus it included yet another of the best moments in our history: Engelaar's debut. The way the crowd went up when he was on the sideline waiting to come on, and his first few moments of brilliance. Amazing night. Yeah, after we finally won was a good moment; I've never seen so many people stay after the final whistle and it was a great atmosphere.
