hedaik
Alternate kit should have no conflicting colours ie: No red, no red variations or white. Can you explain to me why you (and most of this thread) want none of our club colours on our uniform for half of our games?
Hammerhead
Usually an alternate uniform isn't worn in every game away game, Most of the time we'd be in our home strip, then when we play a team such as Adelaide whose colours clash with ours we wear an alternate strip. Unlike currently where we have an away strip that is generally worn in all away games (Perth i think is the only exception we've had) . Yeah but we can still wear white during those games, which is still half our club colours. All these designs with colours that have nothing to do with Heart....I may as well be watching a different team.
dRoy
I don't think you understand the concept of an alternate jersey. See Mongs jersey, I can't recall construction worker yellow being in their club colours. Nor MUFC with blue black hoops and MCFC with AC stripes. As said previously. It's something worn when both home and away kits are clashing.

Heart wearing all white does not clash with Adelaide wearing all red, and yes my feelings also apply to Victory and every other club who does the same. dRoy
Technically we have the red sash. An that clashes.
LR9
We usually clash most with Newy. Their home kit is mostly red and away is mostly white. But other then that no reason for a 3rd kit. If we ever made it into ACL, that would be the only place we'd have issues. But, our kit manufacturer would need to proved 2 new kits anyway. Tranerz21
if we do get an alternate jersey, as long as it isnt the safety vest yellow that the visitors have then ill be happy

Tranerz21
how about something like the germany euro 2012 away shirt. im still trying to work out where the green came from for them to use it

DutchPride
omg west germany, the absolute best kit of all time ffs. if we got anything remotely close to it, I'd kill myself in shock. Tranerz21
pretty sure the green does not clash with any teams and looks so much better than the mong's security jersey
biancorosso7
So Adelaide and Newcastle are the clashing strips because of the red. What is wrong with the 3rd design kit that Forbze made and was used against CCM to become the second kit? Complete contrast, keeps the red and white element and the fans love it already?
dRoy
It was a great design by Forbze. But it would be good if that comp ran every few years.
jonny_d4
Have heard that we have changed our jersey sponsor to kappa next year, so think of quality tops like roma Sent from my GT-I9100T using Tapatalk
Hammerhead
Not the worse news if true. The kits they do for Toulouse FC look ace, Just hopefully they would cut back on the logos on the sleeves, the Single bigger ones on the Aways look much better!

Woody
how about something like the germany euro 2012 away shirt. im still trying to work out where the green came from for them to use it Some say it was a mark of respect to the Irish, that's garbage though. It's due to it being a colour far removed from white and not being a shade, also I remeber reading at the time that the design was to wear Goalie kits to save money or something of the like. Rellum
kappa would be amazing (Y) I own one of these, my favourite jersey. One thing with Kappa is that they are not flattering to people with a gut And no to the green strips, we already have three colours, red, white and charcoal. Can we just stick with that for now. The club is barely out of the womb and needs to bed down its identity.

Hammerhead
Does anyone like the 'Stoke' look we had going last night? (Striped top, White shorts and socks)
Braveheart
I personally think the kit looked class last night which is more than I can say for the football we served up. Thinkt the extra white adds a different, cleaner dynamic and makes the red in the Stripes look very bold. Nice
cadete
Prefer to see Melbourne's Red Legs with Red Legs IMO.
dRoy
I loved last nights kit. It was perfect. Keep that for our away games. When we play Adelaide/Newcastle, we wear the Forbze jersey.
