loriente
Â Rambo at left back again. If Ramsay is our first choice LB going into round 1, JVS should just pack his bags and head back to Holland because he won't be around for long.

loriente
 0-5 Perth  What a terrible game that was. It was, of course, just the appetiser for the main course of 2 years of Aloisi misery.
loriente
Where is the Hoff Man? Â Potentially serving his suspension from FFA cup game? Murfy1
Goal 1-0 Adelaide, about 2 mins in. Play apparently started from a throw-in, Mabil cross and Cirio scored from around the middle of the box.

Jimmy
We don't have a single full back in the whole side. We've had 6 bloody months to sign and instead we just convert all our second tier players. Same crap being dished up just in a different color. So frustrated with the club. Murfy1
I believe Malik got the first injury to his lower leg. Not sure how it happened. Â Then Elsey, who replaced him, just fell awkwardly and seemingly broke his wrist. Â Warland the 2nd sub into that fullback psition.

stewmac
with a fantastic chance as Duff slips Koren through on goal, but Koren's effort is tame and Galekovic saves easily  Not taken him long to fit in !!
Murfy1
Yeah, I've heard the commentators call Marino's name, Retre's name and Mauk's. And I haven't heard them call Murdocca's name. Not sure what the story is there, whether Murdocca was replaced before kickoff or whether they are misidentifying Murdocca.

loriente
Our inability to create scoring opportunities is extremely worrying. Even against Hume we struggled with our first half 11. Against Sydney we created nothing and scored from a set piece. And sounds like we've had maybe 2 good chances all game today. stewmac
Ah well yet another loss , no point having Duff send in crosses when we have no strikers to finish it off , if we make the top 6 it wil be because other teams are even worse than us not by us lifting !!!!!!!!!!!!!
K-aram92
Far out. Really concerned about this season. I know it's only a pre season game but I hate how we don't win pre season games against A League teams. Winning against NPL sides doesn't give me any sense of confidence that we'll do well this season.  I can just see our season shaping up with the following line summing it all up; 'we played well and dominated many teams but just couldn't get the goals'. It seems that we do well in terms of keeping possession but have no forward threats. Villa will help in that respect but I'm waiting on us signing a better striker than Williams that'll be there permanently because otherwise we'll have 60+% possession and lose most games.
