TheGaffer
If the Mariners get their wish then it will only leave Heart as the only Australian based A-League team without an equivalent in the W-League. http://www.theage.com.au/sport/soccer/aleague-womens-team-set-to-take-first-step-south-for-central-coast-mariners-20131218-2zlgn.html Edited December 18, 2013 by TheGaffer
belaguttman
If the Victorian team is really paid for by the FFV then it should be named FFV, not Victory
Tony999
We should have a W-league team. All the girls I know who follow football follow MV. Know zero that follow MH! Generally speaking, when I look around I hardly see any girls in our crowd. The only girls that rock up are the ones who tag along with their partners. theresonlyonebzamora
Oh ok let's have a W-league team, which involves our board being willing to spend money. But when it comes to sacking Aloisi we apparently have no money that the board are willing to spend. Cake ≠ eat it too.

My misses is a BIG Heart supporter, but i was lucky enough to convert her after taking her to one game. Have to thank Yarraside and Golgol scoring a late winner against Perth last season for that help.

Have you ever seen a group of females rock up in pairs or more to watch us?
jw1739
My biggest fear about introducing a W-League team at this point in time is that we've mis-managed pretty much every other aspect of our football so far, so the addition of another team would see us mis-manage that as well. No partners, just the love of the game.
