He has just returned from international duty though from pretty far away. Oh that's right. Makes sense not to start him then.

Pulling Misfud is crazy talk.

Will the Jets inspire the Heart? A few weeks ago the Melbourne Heart might have stolen a peak at the fixture list and figured their match against the Newcastle Jets provided a great chance of securing three points. At the time Newcastle were struggling to put balls in the net and points on the board, while the Heart still seemed to have a point when they claimed their chance-creating play would soon pay off. Now though? The Jets – supposedly reaping the benefits of a pre-season training camp at Holsworthy (Army) Barracks where we can only presume they were yelled at by an insane sergeant with mother issues – have climbed to third on the ladder and the goals are coming (last week’s brace from Adam Taggart to beat the Roar was worth framing), while the Heart’s plea for grace was severely undermined by last week’s jellyfish effort against Sydney that left them six games without a win and looking utterly bereft. Given their away form, and Newcastle’s rise, even a draw will be worth savouring for the visitors. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/nov/22/a-league-what-to-look-out-for

This is going around in circles... The thing is that when he is getting a few rare good chances the pressure is then on BIG time to score... hence the misses. It's pretty common for strikers at a new club to take time to find their shooting feet. If he was playing in a club with a good playing style and confident players he would have found his feet much quicker I have no doubt.

Probably because he's used to getting balls in better positions... so when he get's the ball his natural instinct is to make a goal himself. The team is playing so shit that he's not getting the balls in good positions or with the support he could do with .

Knowing Heart we'll win this weekend and any chance of breaking a record will be lost...

Yep, I'm pretty sure it's where Victory regularly train. Correct!!! See them often as I am driving down Swan st to and from work. Great facilities where they have access to AAMI Park rooms after/before training, inclusive of lap pools, gym etc. Damn they're lucky.

I do. It always felt really strange. It got progressively stranger as the away losses mounted up. Eventually it was hard to care if we'd won a game at home when we hadn't won away for a year.

i called it http://mhfcsupporters.com/topic/2189-rumour-heart-to-merge-with-sth-melbourne-in-2-years/ Yeah a strip with a blue "V" makes a lot of sense...

Surely there are some performance clauses or something? I mean the guy had hardly coached before...
-
I like germano, but it is a concern. pointless having a guy that's always injured or trying to get to full fitness. I think if he doesn't get fit soon and STAYS fit then he has to go ! Or cut him loose now. This kind of "give them yet another chance on top of all the ones they've already had" way of thinking is why we are at the bottom of the ladder.

At what point of not winning a game would you give him the boot? You say till the end of the year but I assume you have a breaking point? What if it's 10 games in and 1 win?

http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/nov/17/a-league-what-we-learned-this-weekend Aloisi’s new challenge Who would have thought it would be like this? John Aloisi, the hero of 16 November 2005, booed by his own fans. Actually, Aloisi may be used to it after Sydney FC fans vented their frustrations a few years back, albeitwith some justification. Somehow though, the week-in week-out scrutiny and intensity of being a coach brings far more pressure to bear than it generally does on players. Though it is hard to imagine Aloisi ever looking anything other than tanned, fit and sartorially savvy, no matter how many scoreless matches he presides over. Coaches in the modern game are increasingly ones with high profile playing careers on the resume. Whether that is a positive trend is a matter for debate. It is easy to imagine that the Heart management, though they will say otherwise, last year were dazzled by Aloisi’s star factor despite having just one season of National Youth League coaching in the bank. One wonders what would have happened if Ante Milicic, who has since been a key backroom figure in Western Sydney Wanderers’ success, had beenelevated to the role instead.

On a serious note if I had to bet on this match with lives depending on how accurate I am. Newcastle 2-1.

The start of next season is going to be very interesting. If Heart don't win one of their first three away games he should go. The derby does not count. This was based on us winning home games in the first few games. He should be gone already.
-
The sides looked fuller but the north end looked emptier.

It's been three games. First was the first home game of the season. Second was Misfud's home game debut against the reigning champions. Third was still ADP factor. Enough people would come see him over and over. There were guys next to me just there to see him. They weren't cheering Sydney, just ADP.

I'll take over the media department.

Heart to win 2-0. Misfud double. We then go on a ten game unbeaten streak.
-
Man this guy sure has no luck with A-League teams. Goes to Victory under Mehmet and now at Heart under JA. His career is going to end with a whimper at this rate.
-
He kicked a penalty. Big whoop. He wasn't the only one, just the last. Schwarzer the real hero of that night.

I sat right behind Yarraside and I thought the energy was great. People outside active got into it more than usual. Maybe the chants were too fast or whatever but considering the football on display I think only positive things can be said for Yarraside.
-
I must say that it's not JA's fault he was hired. He was silly to put his hand up but I don't have much faith in how the club is run on the football side of things.
