Speaking to an insider at MCFC, he said they are worried about this new Melbourne team coming in. He said they will have a stadium however, City tried to push to build a purpose built stadium in the northern suburbs but the local government is not giving them space to build the stadium let alone any funding. Regardless, City need to get this next season right otherwise not extending Joyce's contract would've been pointless.

Foundation member here. Furious with most decisions and blaming CFG for that, but at least you would never switch clubs. Nothing pisses me off more when l hear "I'm going to Western Melbourne". Guess loyalty doesn't exist in their vocabulary and tbh, if someone says that best they piss off anyway. Wouldn't want a supporter who changes teams more than what they change their underwear.

My brother took his son to MCFC on Sunday for a training camp. He spoke with a guy within the club and he said they are worried when the new Melbourne team come in. He couldn't say much but he said the Bruno saga was all politics and said that's what happens when you don't listen to the coach.
