  1. Here lies one of many issues. This is a troubling one. What could have been!
  2. Budzinski got some decent results but was never played. Florin has got few results but seems to be first name on the sheet. #Joycethings
  3. Full disclosure: I was joking & your synopsis is spot on. Fold the fucking club. Never to return to what we had it seems.
  4. I think we have all clocked off now - such is a sign of the times. We just await a new and exciting era whenever that begins. We want something new but have no indication that things are going to get any better any time soon.
  5. Pretty obvious. Months of disillusionment results in indifference. We want nothing more than to be excited but the club has made that near impossible.
  6. An unintended yet pleasant consequence. Failure appointment. Too many signs ignored. Blame at players too BUT they are set up to fail. When Joyce was elected the question was: would you rather win ugly or play entertaining football. I actually think we would rather the latter because that mentality seems to bring out the best in players. No one seems inspired to win ugly. How many defenders did we play and we had 3 put past us? This is shite football that does not work in this context. Bring back the entertaining football. I dont mind if we lose games - at least we can say we gave it a crack. The buzz has left the game.
  7. You know what. This is fucking it. Fires me up. Spot on.
  8. Unless the truth is Forna fucked us... then the wound only grows.
  9. Absolutely. Plenty of time before then too! I just hope City make a crack at it and stop accepting mediocrity.
  10. Just chatting with some City fans a bit in the know. Without mentioning names - a bit disheartening to hear there is likely to be (again) high turnover of players and, at this stage, no high profile marquee on the cards. Supposedly some 'structural changes' (?) with a new yet underwhelming manager to "rubuild" again. Hopefully we learn from the awful mistakes that have been learnt. I doubt it. Makes me wonder what the hell the past 2 seasons have been about? Has there been any cultural changes? I know we discuss this in depth all the time. But honestly, best thing to do after a major fuck up is to admit it and demonstrate the desire to get it right. Unfortunately it is looking like much of the same from City in the short term.
  11. Truth. Next thing is we literally stop turning up which has been on the cards for a while. Even then I doubt it would make any difference.
  12. "You can pinpoint the exact second his heart rips in half."
  13. Too many false starts. History tells us we should not expect a positive outcome, yet we remain optimistic things are getting better.
  14. Who else has made this impressive a rise in abilities though at MCFC? In part I think his pairing with the best CB in the league has played a huge part in this. For one just learning the technical side of things is one thing, but the subtle yet important game statistics where Bart will have compensated for the degrees of difference between the two. Match that with so many positive attributes Delbo does have (age, height, fitness, positive character etc.) We are onto a good thing.
  15. Been a sign of the times for at least the last 2 months. Syd did not offer much tonight. We need to use this as a platform to get consistent results. A deflection and poor defence helped us find the net. We still lack so much creativity and cannot penetrate through the middle. All in all a good result against a team that usually gets the better of us.
  16. Culture over skill. Poor decision it was indeed - we all knew that.
  17. Not wrong. All a matter of perspective. We are just left to speculate how CFG perceives it. On the face of it it seems Joyce has done enough to defer dismissal. Perhaps over a "busy period" and given "top teams" and the team "gelling" in the transfer we have done okay. Call it positive signs going forward - trust the process. Conversely, and more damning is the growing gap between potential and reality. Your salient reminders are sentiments all fans need reminding of. If we accept mediocrity we will never achieve Asia or the cup. We will always be the underperformers. Was this not the cultural shift that was supposed to happen? The one now where it seems we sit increasingly further away from achieving.
  18. Given the small numbers of support perhaps fan sentiment means little. We have wacked hard and long without seeing any cracks.
  19. And I hope you are wrong! But perfectly plausible and valid. My god can you imagine the fan sentiment in the comments for a Wazza Extension update on the clubs social media.
  20. Honestly over it but its the most accurate inference we can make. If they were concered the past few months about results then they have had many opportunities to dismiss him - many nails in the coffin. Makes it seem like this is not a funeral and CFG are on a different path than fans of the club.
