Sorry to say it but he's lost it. Was never the same after the injury. Not a marquee standard player any more. Living on past glories and goodwill. Hope to be proven utterly wrong, and he's not getting much help.

Bela, on what we've seen so far I think top six will be a struggle. And I'm typically an optimist on here.

They should have looked as gutted as we feel. But they don't, and that's unacceptable. They don't care.

Said this last week. Klaxons should be going red alert. Our season is heading down the pan, and that has much bigger ramifications in terms of the survival and long term success of this club. Remind me how far we've come since the Heart days?

We're not former Heart *members* but we were former Heart supporters whose first 'membership' coincided with the first City season, and whose first season long membership was the second City season. I think...

My point. Sydney would not have left two points behind in Gosford today. Enough bloody excuses. -

Vidosic in for Wales. Berenguer did one or two good things, but his place too will be under pressure once the likes of Najjarine get back. We are missing the sort of youthful confidence to attack that Arzani gave us last season. Also, you'd expect Wales to be up for it and having a worldy back in Gosford. But no, he had a stinker. You're supposed to be a pain in the arse playing against your old side. Ross proved that. -

I won't. That was not good enough. We need to wake up and smell the brewed beverage. We need to win this season or risk being eclipsed by the new Melbourne franchise that I guarantee is about to be awarded. This is put up or shut up time. We have a mediocre season we'll quickly find ourselves the third team in Melbourne. Red alert klaxons should be sounding at Bundoora. -

Sorry to say it, but Fornaroli is increasingly looking like a player depending on past glories. -

Honestly, do the City management think this is good enough? Can you honestly see Victory or Sydney going to CCM and playing with as little conviction or shape? We're not title contenders, we're also rans. -

You could say the same about most of our team. Not up for it ever since the first Matt Simon assault. No pace, no shape, no end product. -

We're shapeless and clueless and Warren's sitting on his hands. -

Jamieson on for LaRocca, and move Robocop into the centre. Vidosic on fairly soon too I'd think. -

Matt Simon. Still a bag of shite. -
No-foundation members like us (would have been difficult as we weren't in the country back then) did get a scarf, but a different one.

Agreed, spoilt the narrativium. All the build up was about Honda and Victory's fabulous squad, and City were just there to provide useful fall guys. And all the rage now is because we didn't grovel and play our alloted part as the plucky losers. I'll be backing Perth next week.
