  1. In the merch store at the front of AAMI, for anyone else looking.
  2. Cheers @Tony999. Hopefully they will be there tonight...
  3. Hopefully @Tony999 will let me know...
  4. Bold stuff. He's right of course, and Jamo said something similar a couple of weeks back, but less bluntly.
  5. Zwolle are currently spanking Feyenoord 3-1, so doing better post JVS it seems. Bouzanis and Genreau haven't featured so far...
  6. My take on this. We concede very few, but don't score many more. Perth, however, given the chance, score for fun. They've had some goal fests of the 4-3 variety. They've often engaged in "we'll score more than you" pissing contests with the opposition and come out on top. Had we played their game, we'd have lost. So logically, out tactics were to prevent them scoring. If we scored, it was going to be a bonus. A wet blanket strategy. The question remains why we find ourselves so poor offensively that this is our only logical approach to this match. More frustrating, Perth are top of the league, and on the evidence of their games with us, they're not much to speak of. Imagine what we would be able to do to them with some attacking threat, and how the league might look if that were the case? We're not that far off being a really good side. But just far enough to have to endure turgid shite like that.
  7. We were the first team to prevent Glory scoring this season.
  8. In a match with as much attacking threat as a lounge room cushion, I reckon we looked slightly more like scoring. But that's not exactly saying much. Still, we looked solid. Not thrilling though.
  9. Probably on a lot more. Ex EPL or Championship won't be on €20k. They are both from Lancashire. Derbyshire is from Blackburn, Wazza from Preston. Same accent, easy commute.
  10. I think they are just trying to manage numbers. Everyone gets a crack on different dates.
  11. CCM certainly. Adelaide now that Isaias has citizenship.
  12. It's actually four at the back and six in the middle...
  13. Our perennial problem. We have a soft underbelly, and we don't kill teams off. And we don't have the ability of Perth to pull ourselves back from behind.
  14. By the time we were backs to the wall against Brisbane (which is the phase of the match which seems to have stayed with a lot of supporters) we had done enough to be 3 or 4 up. We'd bossed the game to that point such that a substantial lead would not have flattered us. TV commentary at about 70 minutes said as much. Against CCM we were flat in the first half, but in all honesty the half was not far behind even. Second half we were all over them for a good chunk of time, but our balls into the box were repeatedly intercepted or more often just banjoed off a CCM body. Is that good CCM defending getting bodies in the way, our inept approach play, or the balance of fortune on the day? Depends how you want to spin the narrative, but very few of us are inclined to spin positively at the moment.
  15. He only missed my vote because he only played for part of the match. Might have gone for Griffiths but for the penalty, so went for Wales because he scored. Glad to see Frenchy play well.
  16. No we didn't, but we'd not looked up for it in the first half. We began playing too late, and without enough guile or impact, in a match which always looked and felt as if it wasn't going for us. 3
