  1. Because it didn't happen. Wrong and wrong and wrong. Look below if you like. I did. Every minute Oh I did watch every game and I know exactly what they failed to play and the reason why is because we moved the ball too slow from the back. Again I repeat I didn't look at Bart with rose coloured glasses. Let's do a comparison of the season. Bart 25 games, RoboCop 24 games.
  2. Bobo and Simon Dominated the league. And you are right. Much rather see Noone as a makeshift striker if needed.
  3. The reason why I said it is because I can't recall that that working for a successful team in the A-league. We need an experienced backup in our squad that can play that position.
  4. Watched every game but not with rose coloured glasses like most people did when watching Bart. Defensively he was good, that's never in dispute, but in counterplay he was rubbish. Went for his little bursts trying to dribble the field on occasions but that further confirms that had no passing vision,. Bacchus just as bad. RoboCop was much better in attacking transition and nearly as good defensively. Totally agree.
  5. Very good forward passer of the ball with good vision in transition. Nice to see both Bart and Bacchus gone as they were the worst backward and sideways uninspiring passing bunnies in the world with no vision to create plays. Very good signing for a 4 5 1, 4 4 2 system. Team coming together nicely.
  6. Me either. Pretty disappointing. Drain the swamp.
  7. The club just tweeted this. Google translate from Italian to English The words were: Distinguished Excellent Magnificent Kangaroo Are we getting a big name Italian marquee?
  8. Youth are pine warmers until they prove themselves with 30 mins on the pitch. A decent manager will start the season with proven, reliable and experienced players in the starting eleven.
  9. Love these games. Has the grassroots feel rather than the sterile corporate controlled fanfare. I encourage everyone to attend. Can't wait tbh.
  10. It's funny, just looked back to when he was announced by us. Riley McGree said: “Warren Joyce got in contact with me […] I could see that this Club is going places, and I want to be here winning more trophies. Getting young players in and creating a good, stable base as a club is an important thing to do, and I’m excited to be part of it.” “I came here for the professionalism of the club, the high-quality facilities and coaching staff and players. Now I want to get a good pre-season under my belt, have a good season and develop myself as a player.” Poor kid.
  11. It depend what you define as attractive.
  12. Another useless signing from Wazza, thank goodness our new manager seems to have half a brain. Good luck to him.
  13. Caceras signs 2 year deal with the smurfs.
  14. Bruno left because Wazza and Munn were douchebags. Watch him dominate the competition over the next few seasons. Good luck to him.
  15. Using the Bart money for Brillante....... Yes. At least he won't be passing sideways like a donkey. A fast strong creative DM is exactly what we need. Great signing if true.
  16. Well then don't pay it and don't go. Many people think it is worth it and pay the fee and happily attend. Hence why they are usually a sell out. Secondly I would say our boys would be over the moon rubbing shoulders with these elite players. As for a second rate squad, that is total rubbish as since they bring extended squads they usually bring their whole list. For example, when Arsenal played WSW they had their full list on the pitch on one time or another. Don't know what you are on about tbh.
  17. Gee, this is so far off the mark. When I went to see Man City, Roma, and Real Madrid with a packed MCG, it was an awesome experience. Even at half pace they are delightful to watch. And for the record many of the people there were A-league supporters but even if they are not there is nothing wrong with that. Also there are people that don't follow football at all and they may come out of the experience with the idea of attending A-league matches. I think people should get out of this euro-snob idea, there is nothing wrong with people enjoying the elite level of any sport exclusively.
  18. I was there and took a video of the discussion.
  19. Going to miss his sideways passing. He may have had bucket loads of the ball, however his effective passes % was probably the lowest in the league. Would have liked to see him managed by a better manager to see how rounded he is as a player. Good player but a bit over-rated tbh. No big loss IMO but would have been nice to keep on a reasonable wage.
  20. He was off in fairy land and too busy with all his other crap. He should have gone when CFG took over.
