I can't even imagine sticky taping on the numbers on team kits at my local club let alone at a professional club competing for a place in the Champions League. What an embarrassment.

TTDIM: Dogs. Seriously dogs are the greatest creatures on the whole planet. No matter what they will always love and cherish your existence like nothing else. They are always so happy to see you and they want nothing more in life than to be your friend and make you happy.
One of my two dogs passed away today after a long illness. His medication had stopped working and we decided it was time to let his suffering end and let him rest. We adopted him about 5 years ago from a shelter after his previous owners beat, tortured, starved and finally abandoned him. When we met him he was a terrified little bag of bones who wouldn't fall asleep for days on end as he was in so much fear of what was going to happen to him. Throughout his time with us he blossomed into a happy, kind, excitable little bundle of joy and became my best friend.
As tough as today has been, I'll always be happy with the knowledge that we gave him a second chance and a loving home for him to grow old in.
I cannot recommend adopting a rescue dog highly enough. It's not always as easy as buying a puppy from a breeder, and not as fashionable, but there is nothing quite like bringing a bit of happiness to a lonely old dog.

This kid is so much fun to watch. Insanely talented and brimming with confidence, if he gets some more fitness he will be a superstar. I love the way he pisses off all the opposition players too and just shrugs it off. I thought Isais was going to have an aneurysm after he kept skinning him over and over. Great to see

Was decent but not phenomenal (Sorensen derby)
Saved two one-on-ones and turned at least another two stinging shots wide. Just because it wasn't quite to the level of arguably the best individual performance by a player in the history of our club doesn't mean he shouldn't be praised for having a great game...

I would like to take this opportunity to apologise for being such a moron and uploading the wrong episode. I will strive to be better. Please enjoy the sound of @thisphantomfortress being rude to me tomorrow instead. Much love, GreenSeater xx

Lol what an idiot. Could have easily stayed at the club until January and gotten at least a little playing time but instead fucks off early and spends the last couple of months focussing on his new-found passion of shirtless instagram stories in Byron Bay and now can't get a club. Enjoy the World Cup Timmy

Ok this guy has grown on me so much over the last few games and deserves so much credit for a few reasons. Firstly no matter how he scores the ball is ending up in the back of the net and with regularity. Secondly his commitment and professionalism during matches has been nothing short of fantastic. He has constantly been working hard, pushing himself, never dropping his head and given everything for the team. It'd be so easy for him given his background and also his playing history to disrespect the league and not give his all but it is apparent his attitude is in the right place. He's copped a lot of shit this season and I for one am very happy to see the guy, who's struggled in a number of environments be settled, apparently happy and performing well.
Yep, fully agree. I've given him a fair bit of stick over the start of the season, but I'm very happy to eat humble pie. This guy is a class act and we are seriously lucky to have him. Would love to see him stay permanently

Would take Like Novillo on steroids!!!
My favourite part of this video is the way they spend the first minute building up to saying his name and then spell it wrong.

Fox basically labelled him “The John Travolta of the A League”.
loving it.
They only called him that because they were too scared to make the big call and label him what he actually is.
"The Lionel Messi of the A League"

The main reason i think it will work is that Ross was always more of a 2nd striker than a target man in England. That, coupled with Bruno drawing extra defenders like he usually does will alleviate the defensive pressure on Ross and allow one or the other to get off of the leash, depending on who the oppo puts more time into.
Bruno can compensate on the defensive side too as his workrate is outstanding, as well as be the hold up man and play the tricks.I hope you're right. A front two of Bruno and Ross would tear the league apart

The idea of Ross and Bruno linking up together gets me fully hard. I just hope they work together better than Bruno and Cahill did

That my local bus, that runs every 40 minutes and only goes to the train station, is not actually timed to meet the train so you arrive to watch the train pull out of the station.
Fucking hell this makes me so angry. Happens all the time for my local

Didn't really notice that overmuch. It's the actual commentary intro that starts the show ("Engelaaaaar!!!") that seems way too quiet. Likewise the equivalent for W League that you used this week. Feel churlish being critical, because I really appreciate and value what you do with the show.
Nah you're not being critical, we appreciate the feedback as it helps us try and make it better for you guys to enjoy

Wellington didn't look like they wanted to score last week, and I imagine it will be the same this week. No need for 2 defensive midfielders
Try and put this to bed early
To be fair, now they have Nathan Burns who makes a huge difference.
See this one being a 1-1 draw tbh. Ross with a pen and Burns with a late equaliser.

Jets have just drawn 2:2 in a highly entertaining game against SFC. Said this before but Merrick has literally a beer budget, has taken recycled A-league players with a splash of overseas players (currently out injured) and fashioned a team that's exciting, can score goals and its sits second on the ladder. For all of CFG's clout they deliver us Warren Joyce who has driven out some players and is implementing a Sunday league football philosophy FFS
To be entirely fair, he was pretty ordinary at Wellington

Voted Jakobsen because I didn't see the option to pick Wazza until too late
