  1. Well Tilio would only be a loan till June and then back to Celtic so that makes no sense. I can't see where he fits in unfortunately, if it was Bos or O'Neill or Atkinson yeah because that's areas we could fit players. But attackers is not the area we need filling in
  2. Ok Round 10 saw Arslan the overwhelming BOG with 31 votes, second was Jmac on 18 and third Jakolis on 7. At Round 10 mark, Arslan is leading comfortably with 17 votes. Behich and Jakolis both on 9 and Sakhi on 7 with Souprayen fourth on 6 votes.
  3. Both wingers in Jakolis and Natel were very good tonight and Mazzeo's little cameo was very good too. Where does that leave Nabbout mainly and Lecks?
  4. 3 Arslan 2 Maclaren 1 Natel Jakolis, Sakhi, Good, and Behich unlucky in a complete team performance
  5. Since today's match day, Round 10 MVPs are: three to Aziz with 11 votes, two to Tolgay with 5 and one to Samuel with 4
  6. Thanks for voting. Aslan the lion gets the three with a combined 12 votes, Jakolis two with 7 and Curtis gets his first of the season with the one from 3 votes. Lopane the only other one to get votes.
  7. Could we get some votes in for last round. Only one lot sent in so far
  8. Is it just me or do you think they've abandoned using the full back who is not attacking as a second DM? Is this because they're trying to tailor the game plan to Aziz and Talbot who don't quite grasp it? I'm a little perplexed by this since Jamos an assistant coach and was rather an expert on this. Surely this would help Ugarkovic provide cover for the slow CBs
  9. Roud 7 v Glory saw Arslan as MOM with 15 votes, Souprayen second with 7 and Sakhi one vote with 6. Round 8 votes are open
  10. Leckie hamstring and Maclaren ankle ruled out of Socceroos, so probably not playing this game. I'd like to see Caputo start but I think they may play Natel and Arslan up front
  11. Another test to see where we are at. CCM like us started poorly but seem to have got on a roll the last couple of weeks. This could be anything but if we want to stay in contention it's a must win. CCM will have a days less rest from their ACL game. Would like to know if Leckie and Maclaren deemed fit enough for the game
  12. I agree with Lopane he's a dud and should not have been signed, I would argue that Antonis should have come on instead of him. Especially since Lopane caused the goal on the weekend. But maybe Vidmar wanted to give him some time to regain trust. Whatever. Galloway you could argue also should have been put on before Politidis however Galloway was also ill last week maybe he hadn't trained maybe he wasn't fit enough. Who knows. I just think asking for Vidmar's head this early is just over the top. We've had one coach go so I don't think it's the coach but it's the players or the make-up of the squad which is the problem
  13. Vidmar put on Maclaren, Galloway hardly kids, Lopane who's meant to be decent, and Politidis who is a kid and also almost won a penalty. I think a lot of you just want to spit the dummy because things aren't going our way this year. Toughen up for God's sake. Vidmar has inherited a squad which Petrillo put together which is too top heavy in over 30s so they can barely play the game out, and the mid 20s guys are pretty much plodders. And the kids not as good as previous years.

    Top 6

We will make Top 6 as we have a better list than most but not all this season. It is a case of all the things you mentioned. New players not gelling as we had something like 7 first team players and a couple of youngsters leave this season. New manager being appointed after old one seemed to lose the dressing room or just got too hard. Remaining players from last year seemingly dropped in form or injured. New players older and slower or not as good a standard as the ones who left. Our younger players don't appear as good as previous years. Some other teams improved in particular our derby neighbours Victory and also Macarthur, Wellington and Brisbane. How far we actually go in the end is dependent on improvement in all of the above and also there is the January transfer window which may/ may not be used
  15. Bit late but Round v Newcastle saw Arslan with the three off 10 votes, Jakolis the two with 9 votes and Sakhi and Behich both one with 3 votes each.
  16. Nope $40 adult, $20 kids, $30 concession. Me and my son had to pay $80 for the Kofu game. I'm not sure why the extra $3 for this one, is that a booking fee? Possibly they may not have electronic ticket system at Princes Park so they may have to scan manually
  17. Or CFG may give him a lifeline. Mumbai City coaching role is still available. Also word is that Muscat is likely to get a role in Europe soon after doing well at Yokohama whose season has finished
  18. Vidmar referred to it in his aftermatch. They've had very few training sessions because they've been flying all over the place for games and only really had time to watch vids. Again we're off to Perth this time, crap scheduling by APL. Once they're able to train a bit together they shouldn't be so clunky. We've got a block of six games at home after Glory so that should help. Saying all that the two goals scored v Newcastle were from very good assists, especially Maclaren goal involving Jakolis, Arslan and then a simple tap in. Jakolis was actually very good both goals coming from him picking the pocket of defenders. I think Nabbout may find it hard to displace him now
  19. Professional win. 3 Arslan 2 Jakolis 1 Antonis
  20. Thanks to the above for voting in such a disappointment of a game. That sees Hamza get the three after accumulating 11 votes, Souprayen the two with 10, and Young gets the one with 4 votes. After 5 rounds we see Aziz and Hamza both on 5 leading with Marin on 4. Something to note Good has not been so good with only one solitary vote for the year, same with Talbot. If it hadn't been for Ugarkovic BOG against Sydney he would also be with them. I reckon that explains our season in a nutshell so far
  21. Pretty much what NC said, PK is a coach who has little ability to think outside of his rigid pattern of do Plan A and if not working do Plan A better and do it without fresh legs. Here's a question apart from his brutality why do you think he can get more out of the cattle we have this season?
  22. Good to see the monkey of their back of first goals from Talbot and Jakolis, could lead to more from both these guys which would be welcome. And also good to see Maclaren let Arslan take the penalty and he did it so smoothly too. He's one class act
