  1. Nah, Joyce be like..... Glover Atkinson Good Delbo Griff Jamo Brillante Wales Florin Noone Galloway Jmac on his way to Perth Metcalfe at WU
  2. Arzani back in January would be perfect. Gives us an excellent option on the left. He gets much needed game time. CFG maintain tight control of their player.
  3. I’m starting to warm to this guy. After his first goal and the way he took the free kick, I think he is about to have a real impact for us and the league.
  4. Is there a preferred watering hole for pre game drinks on Swan St? Holiava, precinct, corner? Not keen on the whole CBD Pre game, it doesn’t make sense.
  5. Bouzanis Galloway Delbo Good Jamo Brillante Genreau Metcalfe Noone Luna Najarine Wales was better last week, but just can’t be relied upon for final touch
  6. Great win, nice response from mid week. Delbo is great at one thing “defensive headers” but has no ability in any other area. I’m sure he tries his guts out but just doesn’t have the skill to keep his place ahead of Windbichler. Wales seems like a great kid, tries hard and super quick, but unfortunately he can’t pass, shoot or control the ball. We need to bring someone in that won’t kill the ball, Cabrera (when fit), Genreau? Ramy? Also, glad to see Fornaroli get back on the scoresheet.
  7. I was in the same boat, called me back this morning and I signed up. First membership since 2015/16 season. I’ll be in the active area this season. Great work City, keep it up!
  8. For me, the glass is only full when we win the league and qualify for ACL. If we win the ACL, the glass is overflowing. P.S. watch our marquee signing if we make ACL. If it’s not a truely big name, I’ll shut up forever.
  9. Hey Doomsdayers, our wins in the FFA cup are also in the pre-season! Some people just love to look at a glass half empty
  10. Brattan released by Man City, not sure if that has any impact on us keeping him or not though?
  11. Didn’t you hear? Joyce is gone
  12. Or maybe the keeper could wear the red and white strip for all home games?
  13. As I’ve discussed before, I want to be a part of a fan base that is disappointed with losing and demands more. I’ll be even happier to be a part of the club when we finally get it right. Plenty of optimism for next season, new manager, new players and back to an attacking mindset. I’m one of the minority that enjoys our links to ManCity (although not an EPL supporter), the strip included. I’m also happy we kept the red and white. 19/20 can’t come soon enough
  14. What is absolute reality? Smarter minds than yours and mine still debate this topic
  15. Easy to be the first to break the great news on the forum when you’re a NARK (KSK_47) 😂
  16. Now time to get back on track, can’t wait
  17. A few leaks (transfers etc) some good banter with people that share my passion for the club. Never really been into forums, just came across it looking for MelbCity related news. But I do understand the scepticism.
  18. Happy to catch up for a beer pre game if anyone wants to see that I’m just another supporter, you can even check me for wires. 🙂 KSK_47 Another member of the tin foil hat brigade? Watch out the government is listening too
  19. Reality is subjective and dependent on your point of view. I didn’t suggest the changes will magically produce results, they will simply provide confidence to invest more. No right minded person would invest in something that they have little to no control over. I don’t think any Manchester city supporters want their little club back, wallowing in mediocrity. Even that took time and the EPL had very few restrictions I’d love to work for the club, but no just a guy with a different opinion. Next time I’ll follow the herd like a good little sheep
  20. I’m in between the two streams. I have commented on things that aren’t satisfactory but remain supportive of the club and team. Blind loyalty is dangerous, history has shown us that, but unrelenting pessimism is for people who love being the victim. For those that hate the club and team, it’s an open door policy!
  21. Buses and tickets to away final (tick) event for members that attended all games (tick) premiers 19/20 (boom) 🙂
  22. CFG are pushing hard for change and playing major role in giving the clubs true ownership instead of the FFA. Once these changes occur I’m sure we’ll see the chaywe all hoped for.
  23. Toughest year so far, I don’t think anyone other than WJ would disagree. Positives were still there though Bart, Shayon and JMac
