Round 16: Vs The other "One Team in Melbourne"???, 7th February, 7:30pm
Matt replied to Peter's topic in Melbourne City
Did anyone actually expect better? Especially when Paartalu was out. Feel incredibly sorry for Ramsay and Redmayne, scapegoats for fans and manager for the very poor squad we have. -
I fear JVS may have already destroyed his career, we need that LB before it's too late.

Heart till I die.

Keep this man forever. #HeartBelieve
-
At least he dived the right way, what's that? The second time?
-
Villa out. Maycon in.
-
Great night tonight, the $50 in my pocket for Victory by 2+ goals even better. Jam the money up your arse City, Heart never got humiliated like this. Blind Freddy can see the problems with our squad. FFS fix it.

Very happy with the badge! Easily the best of the 4 designs. Good job fellas.

Could the reason why Villa is holding a red shirt due to the proposed all blue home kit getting denied by the FFA meaning they didn't have any of the new white home kits made up? -

What's the point of the away kit being red and white when most of us who want to keep it won't be able to see it live anyway? Doesn't make sense to wear the colours of Melbourne only outside of Melbourne... Still better than nothing I guess... -
OUT. Can't see myself supporting a mini-man city, which is exactly what we'd be.

Big fan of Garuccio and I hope we see him and Aziz both line up on the left against Newcastle.

Think we should be looking to squeeze Engelaar under the cap, I'm sure getting rid of some of our highly paid underachievers like D.Williams would help that. Kewell is only getting better and might sneak into the World Cup squad and if he does play on, would be a good shout for the Asian Cup. Out of our current senior CBs, the only one I think we should retain is Kisnorbo, with all those scouts we have available now, we could do better than Gerhardt and Wielaert. Walker should be given one more year to see if he can recover from the Aloisi treatment, I'm sure losing your spot to Jason Hoffman would be no good for anyone's confidence.

Looking at this list, I'd hope we keep Engelaar, Kewell, Kisnorbo, Vrankovic and Walker.

Love this logo, add an Est. date and it'll be great. So much better than our current one.

Really, really, really hope we get a YouTube channel like City's with the tunnel cam and such. -

All for the name change but really hope we don't lose the red in our colours. -
JA to rescue his career in our biggest win ever. A change in formation will showcase his superior managerial skills. Redmayne Gerhardt Wielaert Murdocca Kalmar Retre Mebrahtu Dugandzic Mifsud Williams Ramsay Heart FC 7-2.

Unbelievable that the ref didn't see Colosimo's handball...

Sunday October 14 - 3:00pm Melbourne FC vs. The Nux @ AAMI Park
Matt replied to Jimmy's topic in Melbourne City
Anyone else feel we didn't test their keeper enough, it seemed we were always trying to play us through one-on-one with the keeper. If we attempted a few more shots from outside the box, chances would have been created such as when the ball fell to Dmac.Overall a very disappointing result yesterday and if Smeltz plays on Sunday I think we could be on the receiving end of a flogging. -
My first derby and a very memorable one at that! Came with a few first timers so I'm disappointed I couldn't be down with the yarraside boys but we sat right on top of the boys on level 3, they definitely made a lot of noise. Unlucky not to have won by more but I look forward to another 3 points next week.

Down 2-0 according to twitter.
