  1. I reckon it's closer to 30%. There's a lot of people I've met that claim to be a fan of the heart era but didn't grab a membership until the $$$ of cfg came knocking and promising trophies.
  2. Devil's advocate here, why is everyone with a different view to you a cfg troll? I've not heard great things about Paddy Kisnorbo as a human either tbh
  3. Anyone else get a call from someone asking if they wanted a 3 gamer pass? offered 90 bucks for the family which is decent but he wouldnt say if maccas was doing another free ticket giveaway.
  4. I think under any broadcast agreement they won't run them simultaneously with only 5 games in one round. Often the people that watch the other games are supporters of another team. I know I watch most of the round each week as I'm lucky enough to be free during those times (and want to watch a team actually try and score...) Agree on the gaps between fixtures. The January congested shitshow needs to go and have a more traditional home/away/home/away theme to fixtures. I'm pretty sure we even had a game on the same time at the Big Bash Derby? Crazy scheduling. I'd love a traditional 3pm Sunday KO but that's just not viable with the weather and playing in the summer months. It'd be uncomfortable as a spectator to sit there in 40 degree heat, let alone play in it. This is spot on. We don't have a clear identity so we have to appeal to families and kids until we finally figure out how we fit Heart principles into the CFG model.
  5. Mate, the FFA can't control the fucking sun hahahaha. What time slots would you suggest to achieve maximum attendance?
  6. 5pm Sunday works for me as I can still get the kids to bed by 8:30pm. Not exactly viable for every game of the season to be a 5:30 Saturday KO
  7. Seems pretty clear that they'd rather just let this season runs its course. If they sack Joyce now, they have to pay him out and pay another manager to come in. Leaving Joyce to plot his own downfall seems to be the plan. Failing to see how Munn would be on notice since he's essentially just been promoted within CFG, thoough?
  8. Bruno will not be back, regardless of who's in charge. He's now refusing to play anyway.
  9. We'd get literally zero return on investment though which seems to be what the club is about. If we don't own him we can't make a profit. He's not exactly winning us games off his own magic either.
  10. Tbh I reckon he was kept on as he would've just moved to another a-league club, therefore it may have been in the best interests to just pay him to not score against us.
  11. To this tune: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25VV_TfEqPU We've got a striker called Maclaren, An Aussie who played for Sunbury, He came across from Hibernian, To play for Melbourne City F.C When you score in City Blue, We'll sing this song for you, And we'll all down a can of IRN BRU What've we got...
  12. Do we have a thread for new chants for new signings? Shits me to tears we don't have solid chants for players but IMO with JMac on a 3.5 year deal and being local boy, we should be trying our best to make him feel welcome.
  13. Correct. The Bballover could have his facts wrong.
  14. I'm not convinced anymore, maybe because Bruno himself has not said a word. If he was the one saying "I want to play, let me play", then I would absolutely be behind him. His silence has let my doubts fester to a point I'm not even sure who's in the wrong. Back on topic, I don't envy him. I reckon the complaints are heard by those higher than him, but much like the media shit show that the club is putting itself through, they just don't bother responding to the paying fans.
  15. Yeah it's a tough one. Should be Joyce or Munn copping the spray and having to answer us on the spot. At least someone at the club is trying to improve memberships/crowds though. Been dire this year.
  16. Big Bash and AO to compete with is tough, but then again I'm heading to the cricket myself to try and liven up my Saturday night... Hopefully we win just to spite my decision.
  17. Nail on the head there. The agenda against the very club they support is staggering to see.
