  1. Is the issue excessive emphasis on ethnic background, or is the issue viewing it as something divisive rather than something that's pretty inconsequential?
  2. Correct. Severe lack of spacial awareness.
  3. Well I think that's a bit of a retarded question but if it was say a sports match or whatever then Australia.
  4. You at the Sage Institute of Fitness?
  5. I think it's not a lack of Australian patriotism, but a lack of reason or opportunity to show it. Eg if you saw my dad watching a Socceroos game there is no way you couldnt say he is a patriot, but aside from things like that what other opportunities or reasons does he have to show his Australian patriotism? Whereas with the ethnic stuff, it's an important part of people's identity in this multicultural society so there is more reason to show/celebrate it. Or maybe another way to say/look at it, growing up in a very multicultural part of Melbourne/Australia, a pretty normal question was to ask people their 'nationality'. Now most of us would have been Australian, in fact for me it's technically my only nationality as it's the only country I hold citizenship to, but my answer would of course be Macedonian in that context. But if I went overseas and someone asked me my nationality of course the answer is Australian. Not sure if that makes sense to a dingo like yourself, but I guess I'm saying it's all relative and more about context than anything else.
  6. The irony is that there has been so much rape or just plain and simple breeding between different races that modern races share very little genetics with ancient races in Europe, Middle East, etc.
  7. TBH Cad was right, abo life would have been pretty chill. Especially when you factor in what scientific studies say about their level of intelligence, they wouldn't have over thought shit and instead just chilled enjoying the dreamtime.
  8. There probably are things, I can't think of them off the top of my head, regardless I'm sure I could still find a way to link it to the actions of the left through some sort of indirect convoluted logic.
  9. TTIM : left wing fuckwits who think they're doing the right thing and helping out the cleaners by cleaning up after themselves at the food court. You are putting cleaners out of a job you fuckwit. There aren't that many low skill jobs going around. Always think you're doing the right thing but always doing the opposite, classic left.
  10. This is literally what I always say as I leave my rubbish everywhere and my companion/s question my actions. I am doing the right thing, keeping alive the ever diminishing amount of low skill jobs in the economy. Not all heroes wear capes.
  11. TTIM : the pointlessness of life.
  12. Nice piece from DL on the anti-Trump brigade in Australia but I thought this bit extended to SJWs in general and is similar to what I've tried to say before (though better articulated) So who are the anti-Trump brigades trying to impress? The answer, clearly, is each other. What they are doing is engaging in that great modern affliction known as virtue signalling, defined as conspicuous expression of moral values to enhance a person’s standing within a social group. In other words, people who don’t have any original ideas of their own have discovered that an anti-Trump tweet or Facebook post will make them feel like they are part of a gang. It’s a way of feeling relevant.
  13. Out of all the things I could put my penis in I'd rate them #1.
  14. I expect that to be the case as well. Probably not just in the states to the West of us either.
  15. TBH the constitution change isn't really a issue for me and I'd most likely vote for it depending on the details, and it would have been good if Abbott did put it to a vote because it is inevitable and I trust him a lot more than others to make it a fair and reasonable reform. The constitutional change seems like a step forward in normalising things, whereas the stuff I mentioned is just annoying never ending wank.
  16. For sure, they had no reason to change/advance anything and so they didnt, whereas in Europe and Asia people had to. But at the same time, what am I meant to be appreciating and respecting so much? Yes they probably lived a good life, good for them. But it has little impact on any of our lives. And frankly I dotn see the fact they were invaded and had their land taken as that big of a deal, as you mentioned in the other thread, other places in the world had that happen countless times over. It's just all too much, we have three national flags, we have to thank the traditional owners of the land, we cant build infrastructure projects because some guy carved a line in a tree thousands of years ago, etc. All this for a community that is a small minority in a very multicultural country where no other ethnic group gets special treatment (as they shouldnt, thats the sign of a successful multicultural country).
  17. Indeed, but I'd say everything that has happened post cold war is a lot more to do with outsiders trying to gain influence over the region than history. It's easy to dismiss the importance of the region but it is in a key geographical position which is why it's valuable. It is certainly interesting that the most recent issues all seem to have started when competing gas pipelines through the region between Russia and the EU started being proposed.
  18. They have a special exemption, some BS about inventing soccer. I don't really agree with it but it's not a big deal as it's a very long standing arrangement and not really a political move from FIFA (at least not to me, maybe others see it differently), whereas letting in a disputed nation run by a terrorist and criminal organisation is.
  19. Just another region ruined by West vs Russia proxy wars. Seems to me there is a pretty strong chance they'll be another Balkan war very soon (as in this year), it will all come down to Trump and whether he really is a non-interventionist.
  20. TTIM: Seeing Berisha get called up to the Kosovo national team, not that I give a fuck what the gypsy does, but more so the fact that FIFA even allowed membership of this fake country. Broke their own long standing rules of only allowing UN recognised nations as members. Dunno how this corrupt organisation even still exists. I wonder who paid the FIFA execs off, was it Soros or was it just some extra cash from their government's organ harvesting business?

    Post of the week TBH.
  22. I'm so fucking sick and tired of all this indigenous BS always being forced on us. Let's be honest, there is fuck all to recognise and celebrate. 5000 year spent inventing a stick, meanwhile on the other side of the world there were countless advances and achievements that lead to modern civilisation. If their history actually meant anything it would be respected automatically instead of having to constantly try force people to give undeserved recognition.

    I wonder...

Would be? No electricity, no jobs, one river, 90% desert, 47% of adults are borderline illiterate, economy based around agriculture and state sponsored manufacturing, nutcase politicians, etc. I think they're already there tbh.
