heart_fan10
A RADICAL overhaul will result in Melbourne Heart's youth players training with their senior counterparts, copying a model used by some of Europe's top clubs - including Dutch club AZ Alkmaar. AZ coach Gert Verbeek and chief executive Toon Gerbrands will be in Melbourne next week to discuss it with Heart officials. Coaches from the senior and youth set-ups would oversee between 30-40 players. Heart has interviews underway to fill two positions - a senior assistant to replace Ante Milicic and a youth coach/second assistant to fill the role new head coach John Aloisi had last year. Hayden Foxe, Joe Mullen, Kenny Lowe and Stuart Munro are understood to be in contention http://www.heraldsun...x-1226395530169 Edited June 14, 2012 by heart_fan10

toogood18
wonder how much Davutovic got paid for those 112 words. What a joke of a "journalist" Davutovic is a Heart fan and his stuff is far superior to that of his predecessor Grantley Bernard, who knew jack all about the game

Bozza
Stuart Munro is interviewing this week, not sure if it was today or tomorrow. He was told he will know if he gets the job by Friday, and apparently he doesn't think he will get it because he thinks they're already leaning towards someone else. Not sure when the Heart announcement will be but I may be able to find out if Munro gets thumbs up or down on Saturday or possibly Monday. Would be pretty keen to see him here tbh.
