Scouser
Steven Gerrard has today committed his long-term future to Liverpool by signing an extension to his contract with the Reds. The news completes a great 24 hours for the Anfield skipper, who signed his new deal at Melwood this afternoon after firing the winner in the first-leg of the Carling Cup semi-final at Manchester City last night. Shahanga
Well its been an Ok season so far, but its fair to say a bit disappointing - our new signings have taken a while to gel and I would have preferred that we held on to Aquilani. Looks to me that the title is there to be won if a club can string together a run of wins- but we are probably a bit too far off the pace, anyway I guess we'll see. Am hoping that this suspension to Suarez becomes a really good opportunity for Carroll to get some first team time and build up his confidence with a few goals- I am certainly not writing him off yet that's for sure. mulhollanddrive
The season we actually decide to spend money in the world class range (15-35m) we spend it on Downing and Carroll! 2 world class players makes a huge difference to a team, look at Suarez, imagine if we had another 2 of him. tomby
Stoke :- Thoughts ? Seeing as Liverpool have never lost a top-flight game at home to Stoke, a record lasting 48 matches, shouldn't have a problem of making it 49 matches. Butty
Tevez a dud - lol. Gerrard a dud - lol. Stoke was again another display where Dirk Kuyt proved he's touching the finish line of his career. I think Kenny and Clarke got the formation wrong, in terms of a 5-4-1, with Kuyt up top, was never really going to work.

Shahanga
Just saw the replay. Thought we played a cracking match- 2 goals against the run of play to citeh. Bellamy had a blinder- best game I've ever seen him play. to think I was against signing him (due to his likely disruptive influence in the dressing room). theresonlyonebzamora
bellamy is a legend, should never have let him go to start with. one of the only players in our best XI who has given near 100% every time he's come on
Duchess
Had to let him go unfortunately. Was amazing when news of his return broke. Who would have thought that on deadline day the player I most wanted (with a realistic chance) would be a past player. Been immense this season, especially the big games, Chel$ki and man shitteh certainly ring a bell
