No chance with any of those, except maybe Lasnik. We would have to release Gray, and potentially pay him out, to free up a VISA spot to bring in an import. cant imagine he signed for anything close to 100K, he is useless when we lose 3 plus defenders and he isnt getting on the bench

Mate I understand and appreciate your position but I pay over $1000 per season for two memberships.... I love the club and have been involved since day 1 HOWEVER I am not a sucker either....there needs to be a blend of youth and experience for a successful team. Selling your best players and not replacing even one of them for a "like for like" is going to eventually turn the fans away, especially if the results are against you too. Winning games consistantly will only save the club from going down the path of NQF and GCU, not selling your best players and replacing them with the youth team top ups. This season has proved it...how many members have failed to re-sign from last year? Even where I sit the members from two years ago are no longer there, even members from last year...each week the empty seats increase around me...the fans sign up for one season and rightly or wrongly they then disappear never to be seen again.... This season is gone...the club better have some big names planned for 2013-14 season else they won't be seeing my membership money again I am afraid....I will support and go when I can but I won't be buying a membership. We can also develop Socceroos until the cows come home....it will do nothing apart from us talking about it and saying what a good club we are. I think we are always going to sell the youth that is a fact of life in the a-league. We could sign better internationals and senior players who are more likely to stay imo, Gerhardt and Germano are goo as is fred atm but we signed alot of bad ones too imo, Worm, Terra, Maycon, Gray ect were just not good enough, Brisbane signed Broich ect when they were up and about, ADP, Heskey ect we dont make enough from the older type players this is holding us back, i think we have had and still have alot of good youth come and go which is good for us and them, last year i didnt know about Garuccio and Walker like i do now, Miichinson is another option, and hopfully Edwards too after a pre-season. Redmayne has shown he is ready for the number 1 ect. I think we can sell players as long as we keep a core of high level experienced senior and international signings

It's not totally silly, apart from it limiting us to a battle for 5th or 6th at best, it also means a brief cameo finals appearance with an away final as a likely option I think it was silly comparing is to be a team ready to "shut up shop" fold ect

I like gerhardt atm but am not sure how much i would like him up the ground, would definitely be that physical precence though, Garcia and germano and one more for sure though, Fred has just lost a step, he would be great coming off the bench next year imo, 30 minutes he can give 100% not get injured and really hurt teams. lets hope.

i was at work but that is great guys, Aziz is the greatest MHFC player to date without doubt, will miss him running down the wings from LB, he just never gave in and wouldnt take anything from the opposition or give them and inch, need more Aziz will not be replaced easily at all. You can just tell winning and the MHFC meant so much to the kid, glad he gets the opportunity he has.

yep this is it, MHFC lacks a midfield, our best 3 are what Fred, Thomo and Germano with 2 being injured for alot of the year? while Garcia plays front row? we must have the worst engine room in the league, Colosimo and Gerhardt are fine imo with Walker who i love and Michinson who was ok earlier in the year, We need 2 very strong, competitive and creative mids for the end of this year and next year into the future as i think out main 3 are just not good enough

I liked this but well well said, people need to learn these things, yes i want success but the club runs on $$$$ not wishes, we still have alot of talent Duga, Williams, Bablj, Gol Gol, Garcia, Gerhardt, Walker ect we can come out of this imo like we did this year but better, just takes 2 good signings this off season or even now and we can be back

Rogic had 3 months left on his contract and would go for free at the end of the year, Behich has 12-18 months so would be priced as you need to wait that long to get him for free and by then others would be keen, i agree 1 million is too much but they are not the same deal imo

silly topic imo, It is points and overall position which counts, last time i checked there wasnt an away ladder, We are 6th and and that has been while throwing points away left right and centre, yes we sell players this is soccer and the A-league is a 3rd to 4th rate league. Teams in Ligue 1, Eredivisie and even Spain, England and Italy sell there BEST players. This is what we are and one thing we can say is that MHFC is good at it, we have developed 3 Socceroos and 2 more promising players in Good and Hamill who most likely will get capped at some point. People need to take the good and the bad and understand where we are and what it takes to make money in this game, we can play finals and when we play well we can beat MOST teams on anyday. relax

I hope not, as he is said to be contracted for 12-18 months in which time he would have multiple Socceroos caps ect, and be a huge player imo, only a big offer will ease the pain on this one, no reason to accept a average offer

You both make sense although he couldnt simply join them could he, Part of the contract was that Redstar defaulted on a payment giving us rights or option to obtain Eli again? I understand players move for no fee when out of contract but we would have had Eli under some sort of contract otherwise the clause would be useless to use? Eli would be a great fit a WSW but it isnt that simply, im sure Eli would have loved to be at a number of clubs.

It is funnnier when we consider that after wins we have crowd spikes, until the last derby we had won or drawn the last 4? or more and 2 of those had been great 3-2 wins ect and then they dont come back. It spikes the trend of all our other form to attendance records does it not? Plus the atmosphere at derbies is great, it is weird how nobody odes get converted, Maybe it is just having someone you know lead the way and really encourage it? alot of the derby goers may just be that and go off their own accord and not have people pushing them to return, that is why onemelburnian is so strong, it creates that link through friendship and atmosphere to convert these part timers
