Would have rather we kept Gerhardt as opposed to Weilaert. He showed his versatility in being played as a DM (where he was pretty good), and being able to play as a crash and bash brutalising CB and a much more calmer and controlling CB when needed. Not to mention he was a fucking champion bloke. Will be missed / the only players who have left so far that I will genuinely miss are him and perhaps Engelaar if he does go.

People overstate the importance of a players pace. Our worst ever player was fast as fuck (Mifsud), and our best ever player was a slow as a sloth (Engelaar).

AFAIK he doesn't say it in the books. But I have read the books and I do know more than anyone else who has just seen the show (which now wildly and almost constantly deviates from the books) so don't tell me to stfu lmao. It's at the point now where I see the show to be a completely different story to the books.
