Yeah they need to fix that he is with the mighty Ajax now.

While I like the Dane I still think he is a waste of a visa spot.

At the end of the day as long as we are entertaining and playing well I don't care what the top is really. They could be running around in gimp suits as long as there our gimp suits I don't care what it looks like. It just has to be ours. The way we play comes before the kit for me. -

I wanted to punch the screen every time his face showed. I really hate this c*%t. -
The Mooy of the womens team or is Mooy the Little of the mens team?

Brattan has been recalled back to ManC make of that what you will.

Great if the hats were red, white and light blue.

In a perfect world it would be great to get everything we want. Never really liked the stripes, more of a hoop or plain man. But if blue is what we end up with I can live with this as long as we have a kit that is ours. No navy and not a copy of ManC or NYC but a kit or our own. I would rather have a well run and good team than a fantastic kit. Would like to have a white top, coloured shorts and white socks with red and sky blue trim. Would love the sash to make a come back weather in red or sky blue or both. It Just want something that's ours and the team to be playing well.

Just because we have "money". He does know that the league has a salary cap. You can't just go and buy a new team. -
Ronaldinho? I'd rather Pele he can at least still play

Well we (Victoria) used to be called the garden state. I'd like us to be a nice green colour for something different. CFG are going to do what they what anyway. And who knows if the FFA keep going the way they are we may not have a league anyway. Or if we aren't getting the crowds etc, CFG may just pull out and cut their loses. But hey you have to live in hope. I just want something that's ours not some hand me down. -

Not sure how it would look but the new badge over the red heart like a shield if that makes sense. -

That's all I want something of our own. Also kits for the women's team that actually fit the them. Sky blue top with red piping I don't care just something that is ours. With Red, Sky blue and White it's the old and the new and something that is Melbourne's. -

I know that we are going to light blue no problems. I like that we have the away kit, just wish they would wear it. The home kit for me is the problem. I just would like to have something that is ours. Surely they could give us something that is ours not just a hand me down for a home kit. At least they could have broken it up with different colour shorts. And get rid of that navy stripe. Don't care if they just keep the light blue or they could add red but the navy has to go. -

In the survey that I was sent because I hadn't renewed my membership I'd mentioned the lack of a kit of our own. Said it would be nice to have something that is ours not a Manchester hand me down. Don't mind what colour it is just something of our own that you could identify with. -
Yep got the same thing. Was nice to vent a bit about the club and the A league in general.

Because it's more of a risk than 'the same crap players that just move from team to team'. At least with those players you know you'll get a solid backup player for the same minimum salary, whereas some guy from the NPL could be better, but they also could be a complete dud leaving you without backup and no other club will take the player off your hands before the contract expires. Well it's worked great so far. Look at some of the duds we have picked up from other clubs. I would hardly call them solid. That's what scouts are for. Supposedly we are meant to have some now. So we just pick up a player that is crap for some other team but he has been in the system so he is solid. We have a long off season surely someone from the club can get to NPL games to watch some players who are actually playing than getting some bloke that doesn't make the team. Anyway I don't pick the team or recruit players so it's not my problem, would just like to see some new local talent than just trying to keep polishing the same turds hoping that they will become a diamond. Further to what Tesla is saying, Kalmar was winning best player awards in the VPL (which is pretty much the NPL now) and look where he sits in terms of the A-League. He is now one of those A-League "scrap" players you are talking about. The reality is there is a huge gap between the two leagues and just because some one looks alot more capable playing at that level than some of the players in the A-League does not mean they can make the step up. Where do all the Australian players come from? They just don't appear at a A league team do they? I understand that not every player is going to make it. But they have to come from somewhere don't they? It wasn't too long ago that we were going how good Kalmar was. Alright he didn't make the grade and what WSW do is up to them. Even our youth team has come from somewhere, we haven't just plucked them off the street. Some make the grade some don't. The A league will die in a few years going with this reasoning if people aren't going to take a chance on fresh players, perhaps we can just clone these players so they never age. That's why we have scouts isn't to unearth new talent? We have to have so many Australian players in the squad so we are going to have to get them from somewhere. How are we going to know if they are going to be good or not if they don't get a chance. If we can't find players to go into the youth team or step up to the first team then the league will be over in a few years. We take a chance on all players Australian and visa. Anyway the club will sign who it wants. I'll just enjoy the game both A league and NPL.

Wish they would have a look at the NPL teams. Surely there are good players playing. Hate it how the A league teams seem to keep using the same crap players that just move from team to team, or some hack visa player. Their are good players in the NPL just need to be given a go.

I reckon it's good to post up what was said. A bit of transparency is good, we don't really get much from the club. We can a least hold them accountable when they tell us porkies. Like our home kit with the navy for NYC and their kit not having any navy on it. -
Wish Mate would have a run in with JVS.

Hahahahahahaha. The new blue make them look like smurfs. But like you said if it is that shade just have red trim instead of the navy would link old and new. NY could have navy and ManC has white. Simples. We could perhaps take it better if the team was playing well but with all the hype we had at the start it has just gone down hill from there. Villa leaving early, injuries etc and this cityzens thing plus all the spin. Just leaving a bad taste.
