I've noticed that nothing seems to have been said anywhere about the youth league since last years grand final, and I feel I need to ask: is it still happening this season or have the FFA quietly dropped it without telling anyone (or taking down it's site)? And if it is happening, when are we going to find out...well...anything??

The club have set up a facebook event at the Mt View Hotel for this match....apparently there will be give-aways....

A couple of central Victorian towns had that done many many years ago (such as Bendigo and Castlemaine), and a few others just don't develop very close to the river as they flood regularly and don't need to worry unless it's a particularly bad flood

so....would I be right in assuming that there will be a small crowd there on Saturday?

I suspect that governments keep building half decent stadiums in fairly good locations and then rent them out at presumably reasonable cost for the users probs makes it not worth trying to build your own.....and given you'd have to spend several million to get a site before you apply for permission to build (with no way of knowing if you'll get permission to build).......

Given that the fixed camera positions are on the tunnel side of the stadium, and that they're apparently opening the opposite side of the stadium for GA, I'd say that won't happen this time (unless the crowed is stupidly small)....

Most of the photos where taken with a Canon 1DX and 70-200mm 2.8L combo I was loaned as part of the prize (it was the canon collective comp offered through the cityzens portal that got me the access); a couple where with my usual 60D with 18-55mm kit. With any luck, I'll get to do this again later in the season =D

I've got copyright over the photos, and as far as I'm aware I can do what I want with the 1508 photos I took, but the club does want me to submit the 3 best to them for their facebook

Had a cheese kransky last week and a bratwurst this week; of those two, I prefer the kransky. Can't wait to try the chorizo in a couple of weeks

...I have to ask, what where all our yellow cards for? I couldn't make head or tails of half of them (though I may not have been paying enough attention) Also, winning the opportunity to photograph the match pitchside was amazing =D

it may not apply to the "pre-packaged" class of liquor license (ie bottle shops), but I'm pretty sure it does for every other class

......if I need to, I just refill my water bottle at the sink in one of the bathrooms..... Also, last I checked (which was several years ago), it was a legal requirement for tap water to be provided free of charge at any licensed venue in Victoria, with no requirement to make any purchase; and I'm pretty sure AAMI Park is a licensed venue (if not, then someone has some interesting questions to answer)
