The only issue I see with this potential player movement is that we aren’t replacing the weakest players.
You're right.
Jamieson needs to go.

And the circus continues.
How can we have a settled team and build some sort of long-term success when we can't hold on to good players for a couple of seasons.
Season after season we just can't hold onto some decent players, visas and not, to get a successful core of players to build a team around.
This team is run by a bunch of idiots.
They better get an equal or better replacement and get a decent midfielder that can create central opportunities or we are done for the season.
This club is a joke.

Totally deserved.
Well done.

Just an observation that might not mean anything, but our midfield seemed to fall apart after Florin went off.
Did it unbalanced out team or am I just over analysing?
Be interested to hear people's views

Erick just said that if we can we will look into appealing Delbridge red card (he didn't really know the rules here to be completely definitive) , so he may be available next week
So he should. Surely that wasn't the right decision

Seriously to be three nil up, stomping on their throats and to end finishing the game like that is fucking pathetic. This club is so beige
You could see it coming, we just start stuffing around with the ball and then put ourselves under pressure with stupid mistakes.
We should have been 5 up by the 60th minute, we don't take advantage of easy opportunities and it costs us every week, then we panic and lose our shit and lose games in 5 minutes of play.
Just scratching my head. Don't know what else to add.
3 points yes but geez we have to do better than this.

We have a PM who is as impressive as Dean Bouzanis in goal
Yeah because he manages the forests and lights the matches.
With all due respect and with all empathy to your situation but can you just stop talking about this political crap.
FFS, I come here to get away from all that crap and just talk football.
Take it somewhere else.
PS: All the best of luck to you and your family.

We should be up by 5 goals by this stage. This is our own fault.
-
Serious question?
Does anyone know why Wales is so crap at shooting?
-
We should be 3-0 up

fucking hell dude, did you get empathy lessons from ScoMo?
What's ScoMo got to do with the Bush fires.
You people need to take a chill pill.
Where did you get from my post that I am not empathetic to those affect by the fires?
As I said the air is fine IMO.
If you want to blame someone have a listen to this guy.
Warning offensive language

Just came from the city an hour ago.
If I could bottle the air and sell it to China I would make a fortune.

The air is fine.
Play football.
Stop with the hyperbolic Armageddon rubbish.

I’m not talking about one particular game. Le Fondre is the top of charts and so is Sydney, proof enough for me.
Of course it is.
Lets ignore the fact the Nincovic has been the best playmaker/ attacking midfielder in the league for the last 3 seasons then.

Agree, Sydney’s foreigners are not all at the same level but all their imports are better then ours, that makes a big difference. In my opinion Le Fondre is also a better player than Maclaren.
Sydney has more capspace than we do.
Even having 2 or 3 excellent decent foreigners makes a difference we have none.
La Fondra did nothing and got destroyed by Atkinson and Delbridge.
The only difference between the 2 clubs is that they have a playmaker in the midfield that can take on defenders and score goals and we don't.
La Fondra had many more opportunities and Jamie didn't, that was the difference between the two, nothing to do with La Fondra being better.
They also play a style of play that suits their goal scorers and we don't, this is the thing that concerns me the most.
We just can't get the whole package right and I really think that something is fundamentally disjointed at this club.

Just so bizarre
You managed to perfectly describe our club in 3 words
Nothing more can be added
End thread

Our tactics don't suit Jamie.
Things need to change asap

Atkinson by a long way.
Well done

Leadership problems, cultural problems, midfield problems.
Big problems.
Unless we get 2 good creative midfielders and a decent wide player we can just forget about doing anything this season.

Massive mistake by Glover. Punch the damn ball

Matchday 14: v Brisbane - Saturday 11th January 5 pm at Suncorp Stadium
in Melbourne City

They created at least 4 opportunities that unfortunately went to Wales.
That's more than enough.
Any other player receiving those balls would have at least scored twice.
Sorry to say but the loss is on Wales not the midfield.
